160 pump flowing?

you will LOVE the new mods!!!! what turbo are you running?

It's a twin set from from PDR. HT3B and a custom s300 charger. Don't have the specific size on that s300 in my head right now.
I hope so and looking forward to the new set of injectors, will be fun to see the diffrence between them and the 370's i had before=) But think the trans will be doing the most of the work to impress me. Last year then i could hardly drive by a car on the highway because it would only slip=)

My friend paid 160 for it to be calibrated and tuned. Im a beleiver now, 4200rpm with NO missing or popping out.

What do the people a cross the water think of a hot rodded diesel?

Everything over there is diesel, at least in the Netherlands and Germany, Im sure they think with chit. Also one of the first Ppumped Dmax's I saw was from a North European country.

Well in sweden diesel isn't big when coming to tuning but it's growing. But we have lots of tuning (gas cars) and rally business here.
Our neighbor country Finland has alot of knowledge in diesel. Over here mercedes diesel is probably the biggest brand when comming to tuning

I have to correct the flowing numbers on my 160 pump. It flowes 470cc and 21mm RW, i just looked at the bill i had and saw that the shop had wrote down the numbers.

^^^ Nice, get ready to invest in some new tires, cause I smell the smoke from here... in california where I can only get up to 57mph since it's a bit smaller than sweden... LOL

I paid 338 and seth flowed my 160 pump with stock dvs and 4ks to 525cc and 4600+. Surprised the hell out of me.

Stock delivery valves??? He change the cam or plungers/barrels? This sounds awful high. I too have a pump Seth worked on.

Yes we do and nowadays we have quite a lot Dodge Ram cummins Trucks!! :rockwoot:

All those numbers sound about right. It depends on the shop, but usually it's around 500cc plus or minus 25cc. Delivery valves make a big difference in flow numbers, but not necessarily hp to match. Next step would be a mild 13mm pump.

As far as I know the delivery valves were stock. I say that because when I got the pump, it was pretty much virgin.

So with these 160's making in the 475ish cc range, and if you use the 2hp per cc rule, 950 is capable...???

How many people have taken a 160 pump with 12mm B/P to over 800hp???

I've been told 800 on fuel with a 160 is asking a lot from it. Most say 1.5 is more accurate than 2hp per cc.

Yea...true the 2cc's is squeezing every last bit of energy out of each cc.

So has anybody ever made 800 on a 160 pump on diesel only... and:clap:

SHughes made like 796hp on #2 but that was one of those chitty 215 pumps no one likes...LOL

If it's the same setup as mine, the S300 should be a 57/65/.13, and the HT3B should be something around a 74/76 26cm...sound right?

kevin did a 913 pump for me a bit ago, 4k,191's and whatever else he does to max out the pumps. he got it on tues and was on its way back that thurs.. top notch work.. set it up for everyday driving is at 450cc and max it will put out 680cc's.. with no tuning on a singe 66 made over 650hp on a superflow dyno and with unknown injectors.
