I ended up ordering a short radius 90-degree boot.

That was my next plan if i could t make the filter fit but didnt have much room with the narrow hood and intercooler piping

had to change the lower radiator location and got the new hose installed

Decided to check on the kdp and fix a tappet cover leak pulled the cover and found the pin on the bottom of the pan guess the previous owner got really lucky. So now what do i need to install a new pin the old one is toast.

Heres the cover no damage to the external area but you can see where it got hung up and sheared off

such a tight fit in there. I will be experiencing all of this shortly.
