looks awesome I have a 72 cutlass I wanted to do this to I might just have to now
looks like a clean setup and one of the cooler ones ive seen.
Nice!!!
Have you put it on a scale yet? I'm curious about how much it weighs.
As nice as the last iterations were, i like this one the best!
Only one person there knew what motor it was, mostly everyone else that was curious enough to guess thought it was a turbo ls7. I told them it didn't run on gas so then they thought it ran on propane LOL I finally told them that it was a Duramax and they were pretty shocked.
It's Big Boys Buns and Burgers. They have a facebook page with pictures from some of their previous shows.
At one point while I was talking to a group of guys about the car, another middle aged guy walked up with his 2 sons, pointed at the turbo and said "look at the carburetor.":umno:

When they heard it was a diesel did they freak out or show appreciation for your amazing work???
As far as I could tell everybody liked it. It was kinda fun hearing them guess what motor was in it. Nobody called me an idiot, moron, or said I needed to be shot in the head like some folks on a couple different facebook pages have, which I appreciated LOL It had a pretty decent sized crowd around it a few times, and it was nice to be taken seriously when explaining all the work I did to it. All in all it was a good first car show experience with it and I'm looking forward to more.

That's great to hear!!! I need to get working on my Camaro now!!!
That's because everyone can easily be a keyboard tuffguy when they are alone. Face to face they wouldn't say a word. Besides, it's a Camaro like no other I've seen before. I give you tons of credit for thinking outside the box and I'm sure they do too (JEALOUSY). Very impressive ride with great attention to detail. I just find it hard to believe most people were stumped on what engine it was. After you get the car tuned in, they'll all want a diesel!
