Who all is running it as a fuel additive, and if you are, how much per tank are you adding? Just started myself and while I added a bit much the first time (two quarts) the truck LOVES it!

I've always wondered about adding some to my old gas truck. So how well does it work? Does it burn better?

I run it in cold weather, 1oz. per gal. but as soon as the weather warms back up I switch back to veg.

I've been running it for a while. 1oz to 1 gal with DK, normal dose.

Does it work as a anti-gel in the winter?

Supposedly, I saw a video of a guy run at -34* F in a commonrail with 1 oz. per gal. in his tank and that was the only additive in his tank. There is a guy that did some major testing from Idaho that has his own site. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I run .5 oz to the gallon just to keep the seals going good in my ve truck with this ulsd. I can't tell a difference. Dad's commonrail got a little quieter when he started doing 1 oz. to the gallon.

I run about 1qt to a fill up. 2 stroke, non detergent 30wt, or what I drained out at the last oil change.
I'm thinking it adds a little lubricity, but you wont see much effect on performance. If you go with a bigger dose, depending on where your timing is set, you might actually notice it running a bit quieter, & see a little change in milage, as it slows the burn rate a little.
(& I THINK it adds a little BTU content.)
Billy, hit that Mopar man link, is an intresting read, I checked it out a few months ago.

Interesting, I was wondering about that too.

I usually go with 1 Quart everytime I fill up. I run Seafoam every once in a while and Marvel every once in a while.

I wouldn't use MMO. It contains some stuff that actually takes away from lubricity. No lubricity=bad for vp44.

So winterized diesel has a higher cetane number and thats the difference? I now gather that the only diesel fuel additive worth a hoot is 2 cycle oil. So thats it,all other additives are crap?

I've heard that from alot of people. There is are grounds for that, I've seen the data. But I have a 98 that doesn't seem to run w/o it. It's been pulling the code of death for what might be 2 years now.

I've added up to a quart of it with no difference in the way the motor sounds, the mileage, nothing.

Is that why we pay so much considering we are down the street from the bloody refineries?
