2011 Badger Truck Pullers Rules

Our NTPA rule book showed up today and the rule says "Trucks must have full size steel or OEM type body. The bed of the truck must have metal floor. If bed is gutted, 200lbs. of moveable weight must be placed rearward of the centerline of the rear axle."

Well that sucks. I'm going to have to call Larry on Monday.

Did they add anything in specifying the frames? Will an f-150 frame still be legal?

It says OEM type body so you can interprut it how you want and I don't see anything about the frame.

I was reading the the steel part. Now that you say that has me thinking a little differently now. Definitely have to call for a rules interpretation on "Full size steel or OEM type body" Full size steel would be just there to keep out S-10s, Rangers, Dakota, etc.

The big difference is when I talked to Larry last fall it read "Stock appearing" Which seems way different to me then "OEM type body." The question I have is the use of the word "or" and "type". They could have just worded it "Full Size Steel OEM body." Seems like the door was left open purposely.
