2nd gen Turbonetics setup on my CR

Thats compressor cover looks huge, is it bigger than most BW covers? My old prostreet 66's cover did not look nearly that large. Looks great by the way!

Where did that header come from? I see you're still using the t3/t4 adapter. Look forward to hearing your impressions of this charger on a CR. This is the same thing as Matt and my charger correct, 66/68 .84 divided t4 housing ceramic ball bearing cartridge? 15182 is the part number if memory serves.

T-23791 is the part number on my 66/84a/r... & It's a divided T-3 flange.
That Tube manifold is freakin Sexy!! I'd love to do a static dyno comparison against my HTT manifold.

The part number I was referencing is the part number for the entire kit. Don't know what the charger's part number is off the top of my head but had all that stuff when I had the mix up.

Matt, if yours is a t3 turbine housing mine is different then yours. Did your charger not come with an adapter?

Yea... I was supprised when I read yours was T4. Mine is definitly T3... bolts directly to a stock Dodge manifold.

What did you do with the connector that connected to the electronic waste gate on the stock turbo..... ? Zip tie it up or something?

it's hangin' down there somewhere! LOL

I've got a CEL for wastegate, but I've got the Smarty programmed to turn the wastegate off

I went and test drove the truck earlier today... definately some lag, maybe even a little lost power at full tilt?

came home and installed my gauges (finally) and took it back out... ~35-38psi of boost and maybe 1200* EGT. Rail pressure holding strong at 22.5-25k at fully song.

so I loaded up TNT #9. Still the same boost level but definately feels stronger up top... I touched 1300* going from about a 50mph roll up to 3000RPM in OD. I've got to imagine she was a crispy critter w/ the stock turbo on there!

I'm kinda surprised at the low boost number, but the truck is pulling strong and EGT's are low. Still holding 22.5-25k psi of rail on TNT 9 w/ 100% stock fruel system

I want to try an MP8 or a Dr. P module to see if it'll help spool-up and maybe get some more boost out of it

I wonder what that does to the characteristics of the turbo? Is .84a/r result in the same dimensions when comparing a t3 flange to a t4 considering a/r is nothing more then a ratio?

So she's needs some more fuel, An MP-8 would def make a difference in spool with the added pressure. I think we've seen 70hp+ with those on the 04.5+ trucks and about 50hp on the 03-04 engines.

I agree, and maybe even these few things in the mix, Mitusa fuel system, Arson III kit(or Floor it's when its available) and maybe some 90hp sticks!

According to Steve @ Turbonetics, my T-23791 (aka, 11244) Is identical to the one you got in your 15182 kit, except yours has the universal T-4 flange. Performance charicteristics should be identical.
Specs are: 66mm ported shroud cold side, 68mm S trim (F1-68) hot side,
84A/R divided.
(sorry for the hijack)
Who's header is that, Forrest ? ??

Thanks for the info Matt and Weston! Good luck to you Forrest still would like to know the answer to my area question :p
