Bench racing? What then, is bench pulling?

They used to do it on benches with slicks, no R/C, steered them by pushing with a stick.

They're both forms of crank yanking.

If the RPMs are dropping and you are killing the motor at the end, that is what sledpulling is to me.
Sort of about the same as pulling with a Chevy, ain't it?:kick::evil
I'd say to an extent yes...there's a fine line between getting under the turbos and killin it at the end and fully loading the motor to its max potential. Maxed out half track and pulled down at the end a few hundred.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXYtQVUxJHw&feature=channel
That looked like a real nice hook. Hard to say how much RPM it dropped, but I think we'd agree that he didn't leave a LOT on the table there.
lynn champan truck dead hooks...
this sled pullign matt?
here gene even i tried my hand with my drag truck!!
in drag race form..whipping the sled pullers. auto, stock air pressure, cal tracs, street tire, no weight...owning the dudes with sts's, weight, and ladder bars as long as the truck.
How long is your motor at full load? Same time frame if not more for a puller, its not about distance genius its the length of time.
Gene..... I have yet to ever see Dennis say a deragoratory word towards your events.........
I have seen him defend his event but why do you have a hard on about this event?
