Dissappointing to say the least...

On my '96/5-Spd
Mods:
SPS66/14/71
Full Cut DV's
Dragon Flow's
4k GSK
Few other little doo-dads

It was sputtering and coughing, so i'm assuming it is running out of fuel on the top end... An Air dog is in the works, What do you guys think I should be expecting with that setup?

How does it drive on the street? Full cuts put out alot of fuel down low probably too much for the turbo.

550+ i mean theres alot of fuel maybe too much with full cuts, i would try some 191's in there and see what that does.

Drives really well on the street, really smokey, but clears up alot mid to high range. the timing is stock, I havent come up with what would b the best route to go with that.

I would bump timing somewhere between 16* and 18*, if you have studs go closer to 20*.

Looks like your peak torque is a little late, especially for stock timing. What is the wastegate set for? Almost looks like the wastegate is opening too early, the fueling is coming in too soon, and the stock timing is limiting your only chance at making power in the upper RPM's.

timing will gain alot of power, it been seen many times, if you have a oringed, or fire ringed head with studs then bump it to 20 deg., if not do not go over 16.5 deg. unless you want to be doing a headgasket repair anytime soon. also tightend your starwheel up to limit some feul down low, you are msot likely putting out the fire, and that is really hurting your spoolup, and the turbo moving air. if you haven't alreay done it, do a seach on modifying your AFC, that will help once you get the timing, and fuel supply where it needs to be.

Bump the timing up and maybe try some smaller DV's. From what I've read and learned the full cut's are pretty much for all out power and for most trucks out there the smaller DV's will make more power and better driveability.

we have a winner

too much fuel will put the fire out.. ive been where you he is at...flows are huge injectors, too much for that application with those DVs..

IMHO hed be better off with stockers...

I was just wondering, but dont you have to have the II pump to match those injectors get the most out of them?

sorry to hi jack, but wat do you guys think mine would hit... id like to be over 500.

im running this setup on a 215 pump.......

FUEL- 100 Plate FF, 5x14s, 4gsk, 18*, Stock 181 Dvs
AIR- CAI, 4in Str8 To 7in Mitre, 64/71/14(Super B Special)
GOODS- Studs, Guages, Valair K/C(550hp)

im gunna dyno soon.... at about 1500-1700 elevation
