3rd gen head on 2nd gen block 24V Cummins

yes with out that hump the p-pump will hit. and there is not enough to grind. i will post some pics tomorrow of what had to be done.
 
Tonight I got all that I could without the manifold and intake gaskets. I also attached a photo of the rest of the polished parts.... even did the radiator cap :rockwoot:

ic i am just a few days behind you. we Mudn-1 and my self just sit the motor in wedesday. should have it running by saturday. here some pics.

Congrats! Looks good!!! post up some video when ya get it rolling, My old lady wont let me work on it tonight so it will be Saturday as well for the green machine :st:

i just did some heat cycles today on her. going to retorque the head in the morning and adjust the valves. i found a little fuel leak i need to fix too. other then that she is ready for steele this weekend.
 
hell yeah its been an awesome experience! these engines should have been built factory!

Do you have stalling problems with the automatic when going into gear like some trucks with a lope do? How tight is your converter?
