5.9 CR going in a 1984 GMC 1500

Lol. It's a pieced together cluster of a shop, that's why we call it the "hack shack", but it works really well and fits most of my junk.

Thanks. Working on swapping in 5/8" lug studs. Makes me more comfortable with the extra weight and power.

Well, I drove it today. Not long and not fast. Haven't wired od or lockup, but PRN321 all work as they should. Feels powerful. Needs anti-roll bar bad!

Nice work! I like those wheels. What size wheel and tire and offsets? I'm in the middle of an LBZ/LML swap in a 69 SB C-10 2WD and was hoping for 12x20's on the rear and 7x18's on front. I'm raising the bed floor 4" for exhaust and shock mounts, etc. You've put in a lot of hours and it shows. I'd love to have mine that far along.

Thanks. Sounds like a cool project.

Front 20x8 - 5"bs
Rear 20x15 - 8"bs

Thanks. I see you went with a Wilwood master cylinder and no hydroboost. I had the same thing in mind and some six piston on front and four on rear. Have you got plenty of brakes to hold on the line for maybe 10 to 15lb boosted launches? I also was looking for a line lock for the stickies and for those ever so special times when one must display their hindparts. I hope your wife doesn't mind if I steal her taillight fuel filler idea, as my placement idea was not near as cool as yours.

Right now it definitely does not have enough brakes. I'll be upgrading calipers soon.
