When ron see's my turbo he won't show up with his big shaft and his pretty rearend! That was fun! but in all seriousness his truck is really going to send folks to the 6.7 store! :rockwoot:
 
big race this weekend there..lucas oil sportsmans races...hundreds of entrys..no test tune this week either dammit
 
Just throwning this out there. If you are lucky enough to make the top 16 at the race, how many would rather see a structured payout vs a winner take all? It seem's that the winner take all is holding some people back from entering. Trust me when I say this, don't be afraid to enter in this race. I know of quite a few entrie's that are running off the shelf 66mm turbo's, and I know for a fact a certain badazz 64mm truck will be there. Anybody can win and most have a very good chance at placing in the top 16. I don't know for sure what is going to happen in the payout, so that's why I am asking now before the race happen's. Opinion's will way heavy on the decision to distribute the cash. Only respond if you are already entered or seriously considering entering. Thank's, Gary
 
I would like to see a structured payout being it does not look like it is going to be a full field.
 
Rather than take everything back home, I'd prefer a structured payout due to the light field - we've already budgeted all fuel money & trip expense, so I'd like to see the rest of the ladder get a little $ reward for qualifying.

I'm confident our customer will exhibit equal magnanimity. :)
 
i will be the arse. i planned on it being winner take all as did most who entered as thats what the rules were. leave em set.
 
I just wanna race. What about if we don't fill up the field, we have double elimination, or fastest loser stays in it. We could make it interesting at least.
Gary, I didn't think a standard 66mm turbo would meet shied's 2.6 turbo rule? We measured a II 66/74/14 a week or so back, and the inlet was 2.675. Reason I'm asking is because I might be running one if something doesn't get here soon. I personally have a hard time letting go of the coin it takes to get one of these badboy 2.6 S400's that have been supposed to get here for the last month. Oh well, if I show up and get tech'd out and can't race, I'll still run the gamblers race:rockwoot:
