Not to bad. Spun a tad in 1st and 2nd leaving @18psi. Weight at the track was 6770lbs running Nitto 420s @32psi and 60* temp.

reaction was good!!

60ft needs work, maybe don't leave as hard and air down tire psi a bit?

Awesome build

If I don't leave at 12+psi it lags pretty bad. I didn't use my lockup switch. But I think your right on the lower tire pressure or maybe even switching to some drag radials.

Very nice build! What hp goal are you aiming for in the future with compounds or triples?

Not really sure. I’m really liking where it’s at right now. Only thing I could see
Compounds or triples being better would be for a faster spool up.

nice build! im currently doing a 6.2 build. something a little different.

with 420's air fronts to 22 and rears to 20. thats the best 60" i ever got and works for a buddies truck also.

this is a 400/400 compound truck in 37 degrees on track

Thanks Chevyguy15 I’m definitely looking forward to getting it back on the track this next year and trying some different things out.

Update. Trucks put away for winter. So I pulled the trans for a refresh and more upgrades. Found OD clutches burnt and steels warped which explains my slight mph/rpm variation in my logs. Everything else looked awesome. I’m upgrading to the TCS Billet direct drum with xlarge piston, Billet retainer as my aermet shaft has started wearing into the factory one, billet Belleville spring,Billet reaction shell, Billet intermediate shaft, and fully rollerizing my gear train. Line pressure was running 200psi and plan to run 225. Converter is on its way to Phil for a restall to stock stall and freshened up.

Good choice on the trans upgrades. I think next time my trans comes out I'll be doing much of the same.

Stock stall is nice on a triple lock for daily driving.

Thank you. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to go full manual VB with a ratchet shifter, or just leave it the way it’s setup because I do daily drive it. Stock stall is what Phil recommended with my single s475.

Also went today and picked up a couple more clean std 6.7 blocks. I bought one for a spare/possible deckplate build, and the other my buddy bought for his 6.4l long rod build he will be doing for his 05.

What stall did you have in it before? And how did it drive on the street?

The lock up will definitely help your times. A few tenths in the 1/4 mile, if I had to guess.

Sweet build BTW!

Phil called it the “Firepunk Stall”. I can’t remember which was what since it’s been redone a couple times now lol. It drove perfectly fine I thought for a single 75mm on the street but hopefully I get some improvement.

Boring update. I decided to re-ceramic coat my manifold, charger, and spacer since I took them off the truck while it’s tucked away for winter. And I picked up a 2013 6.7 rail with lines and sensor for $85 so I’m going to convert fuel and intake systems to a 2010+ system and dual feed the rail using my PPE dual fueler kit, rail sensor relocation block, and Exergy is going to make me some custom lines. Why? Because it’s winter and I’m bored that’s why lol.
