8000lb diesel classes: A thing of the past!

Like I said a tin can on wheels.........With a crappy IFS...... .....So if you add a set of real solid axles, a real suspension....probably a good 1,000 pounds. So you could be right. I don't know for sure but I will do some checking.

That hurts! That POS IFS has prevented many beer spills do to the comfort ride!:thankyou2: The straight axle just will not allow a full beverage to ride in a way as to not spill or foam!

me and BB have same truck styles but i prolly have 200lbs on him so thats why my truck is heavy

Still goes back the the whole question, is it a STREET class or not. I drive mine on the street and like to be comfortable when I do with subs, back seat, train horns, headache rack.....

regardless I will strip it to wieght and come pull, just a PITA.

Yes its a Pita espically with the tow rigs motor blown, the puller has been a work truck again and needs the on board air every day and all the other stuff

I am going to make this simple for a lot of you whiners, if you don't like the rules you have choices. Put together your own pull, cut the weight, spend the day with your wife instead a bunch of truck guys, or move to Canada where they are using the metric system,or for g-d sakes come up with a better plan than whining. I weigh in at only 6300lbs but I pull with the big dogs and I don't hang any weight and yet I never complain. Since I don't have the time to put a pull together myself I have to allow others a little understanding that maybe the rules are set up that way for a reason, not because they are trying to stick it to anyone. And lastly my wife is having some kind of jewlery party this weekend if any of you manginas want to come.
I will be at a truck event!!!!:cheer:

Bean is that uncommonrail a lighter engine than the stroker ?

I think it is but not positive. I just know what the truck has wieghed in last couple pulls so she has gone one a diet.

when was the last time the scale at the track was set up then had a state inspector from the weight an measures dept. come and certify it as being dead on my point is that the scales are never correct and you just try to get as close to weight as possible

How much is your truck weighing in at House? Do you have to remove anything to make the 8K lbs?
