Aftermarket CR head.

We thought about that, but the cost vs. the benefits were definitely not worth it. Especially at the rpm we run. If we were turning 11,000rpm sure, but at sub 6,000 rpm the pushrod valvetrain works well. Also there would be an issue with the tall CR injectors being in the way. For the RPM we run, the 1.3"+ flat tappet allows us to do some amazing stuff as far as valve motion is concerned.
 
I've alwasy thought DOHC (chain drive) and VVT on a CR sounded nice (in theory).
