All This Air/Water Talk How About Pics?

Hum, that would be like a normal race car setup!

Hey what about Keating, he ran one for a while then switched over to water injection.

sorry if this is an ignorant question but can you guys explain how a water to air system works? Does the air go threw open water? Or does the air go around coils that have water flowing threw them? Please help!!
 
Last months Diesel Power had a pic of Tom Collins' mounted on the fender well of his 1st gen. Page 69 i think lower left corner. Its a "froozen boost".
 
I have some questions about this type of intercooler. I am building a pulling truck and i am collecting ideas on what I am going to do.

1) Do you want it before or after the turbo(s) (I would think after?)
2) Would an air to air intercooler be used/benificial too?
3) If you used an air to air intercooler would you put it before or after it?
4) Can you have it to close to the intake ports of the head (i.e. built into a custom sheet metal intake manifold)?

Have built a few but computer etc don't like me, so no pics. but i am working on one now mabye will get some pics of it, mabye

So I am correct in reading that you can run your air/air after a air/water unit?
 
anyone want one of the factory cummins ind. water to air coolers that mount to the head?pm me

I wouldent think so it seems like more piping and more boots to blow than any substantial help....
