All This Air/Water Talk How About Pics?

To me that would heat the air back up after running through the air/water. I would not do that...

works pretty good when you run an water to air cooler inbetween stages of turbos and then an air to air for the final cooling.

I think because of packaging thats why Browns' had to do it that way, Ideally that ice water would be the final stage.

But HOW?? all the extra piping would defeat the purpose.

I remember the comment the air to air was cold from the ice water, that means you actually warming the air back up with the air to air.

correct. he did it for packaging reasons and idealy you would want the air cooler your last.

ideally one would use two water/air intercoolers with twins

When and if I move up to Promod here in Ontario, and use twins again, I will be runnin two water/airs - one interstage, one aftercooler

Anythony why wouldnt you use water injection??? Or just dont want to pony up the $$$ for a good one???

except for the serious classes like promod n say 3.0 most sanctioning bodies dont allow for water injection so this is the next best thing to cool down the motor

Im am fool!:rockwoot: Water Kits are the same as this as far as money goes. Get you some good nozzles and piece one together to save some change just like the water/air bonehead:kick: If I had unlimited income I would just call Pure Diesel Power and buy a whole kit and call Haisleys for a water kit. But Im not so I gotta do alot of it myself. I am however going to attempt to not run water at first. If I find I will need Im going to add it.

By the way when I said earlier that I had many to sell. That may have been a little mis leading. I dont actually sell to everyone. Just some local guys that I know. Im no shop or anything. I got alot of pm's today and phone calls about them. As much as I would love to sell and make some money. I leave that up to the shops that do it for a living. So give Garrett at Pure Diesel Power a shout if you guys are wanting one. He can fix you right up.

Dose anyone make a stainless insulated ice storage container. A container that will hold ice like a beverage cooler?

Most Chassis guys just build a tank verses the area they have to deal with making it as big as possible with a screw on lid for a fishing boat live well that will seal then insulate it from there.

I have seen various models that has a diffuser to spray the returning water around on the ice, the tranny cooler is internal and the water pump is mounted to the tank with the suction inside the tank.
