Best 3.0 Trucks

why time does it start? Or do you think we will actually pull early or late?
 
i am not quite for sure on what time it starts. if i remember right it started at last time at like 7:30 or so and there were a couple of gas classes before but dont quote me on this, i have had a couple of beers since the last pull there

What about Ladell Weaver's "Wound Tight" from out here in PA?.
 
That is a good one ya dont hear much about, the 3.0 trucks class may be the class to watch this year

Not to be a stickler, but I think he was talking about MO trucks... PA is a long way from MO...:shake:

I agree IL has awesome 3.0 trucks. But if MO trucks take 1st 2nd and 3rd. And IL takes 4th-10th, IL is better overall? I dont think so. Kevin Cole and Justin Edwards are 2 of the top 5 3.0 trucks out there. Disposable Income WILL be. Isnt now but brand new and some truck setup to work with. So if 3 of the top 5 3.0 are from MO. Even if that is our ONLY 3 (which its not) were not the best huh? Oh well, you can have the overall. We will take the prize money and you can have the bragging rights. :kick:
 
2 tone where was the pull where they took the top three places, i am not trying to start anything, i am just curious.
 
if anyone was at the pulls in springfield ohio Kyle Michaels driving climax had one heck of a pull in the 3.0 class. he pulled 342ft and put 20ft on 2nd place Terry Copess. Kyles been gone for about a year and a half but that truck had some speed coming down the track. Maybe he'll be at schieds and we'll see what he does against the rest of the 3.0's

Is the 3.0 in Ohio allowing water? I believe Terry runs a 2.8 bushed truck.
 
Take a look at cmpa's website every time the MO trucks are 123 theres no IL trucks there. Hey you guys really are the best when no one else is there!!!:hehe:

yeah water is allowed, i'm not sure what turbo terry was running maybe he did have a 2.8 bushed, but why would he use the bushing in the 3.0 class
 
I am sure he pulled the bushing, but I am guessing he probably doesn't change the truck setup that much going from a 2.8 bushed to a 3.0. It is great to see Kyle back at it. You haven't heard much about his truck lately.

I just said they were consistent taking 2 of the 3 top spots week in and week out. Then this knuckle head starts saying well IL has the rest of the trucks in the class so were the best. So I just figured I'd make some crap up if you are Krueger. I'd put Black Crow, Disposable Income, and Twisted Goat up against the best in the nation and say they would take 2 or the top 5 spots.

This is true Dane beat me in MO. I beat him twice in Il. Benn beat me in Il. I have beat Benn in MO. Granted I only made it to two hooks this year and that will be it, but I have not been impressed yet.

I think Il still has the upper hand on this subject of 3.0 trucks. The 3 Extreme trucks from Gillispie area are all strong. Between those 3 and in both of Rod tarrs trucks and now both of Justisons, the old Extreme diesel truck which is now Ryan Walen's, soon to be Nathan Thornley's D-Max its a tough field to participate in. Well we went to Illinois tonight and from 1st-6th it was a tie 3 illinois trucks and 3 missouri trucks. I don't remember the rest though. But seeing as we were in Illinois it was probably alot of Illinois trucks.
 
i cant remember his name but he has a common rail that is sick. put five feet on second place than something like thirty feet on third. i may have the exact feet a little messed up but i think that is close
