Best 3.0 Trucks

Well I would hope so. The 2nd and 3rd place guys are 2.6 trucks. Im just talking 3.0 trucks.
 
There was a couple 2.8 and 3.0 trucks there last nite they didn't do so well. They didn't look like dedicated pullers though like Tarr or Edwards but one truck was rumored to be running Justin's old turbo. I think it was Jeff Kleiner that took 4th also.

Ya but I was still crusing pretty good when I blew the CFM intake and dented my hood. Oh well. Anybody want to but a slightly used cfm with very little wear on it.:badidea:( HA HA). IT was a good showing of trucks with a lot of soot flying around in the air. Once again it was a good time meeting you guys and thats about the closest your going to get to a IL vs MO pull. Once again props to Ben that truck rocks.
 
yea i would have loved to see how far you would have went if you wouldnt have blown your intake apart
 
Ron how the new turbo doing on there sounds like it likes the fuel better than the 66 did. You guys are making me home sick missing all these pulls.
 
it wasent justins old turbo but it is the same turbo he ran last year and maby this year again???
 
There is a reason i drive eight hours every thursday to pull in IL. Best 3.0 class hands down. Dont get me wrong black crow and twisted goat run good and compete but it is not even close. I pull with the IL ITPA every weekend and also With The MO CMPA. One night rodd will win another black crow, justison has been winning some, my big truck has been top 4 most pulls. ITs so tight competition that you never know who will win. But from pulling with them every weekend IL hands down, top 4 of the top 5 99% of the time.
 
twisted goat took 1st wednesday night at Bowlingreen.mo, ITPA Legacy was 2nd.Don't remember the rest Legacy broke the front end.
You are right all the trucks run good and any one can win at any givin time that is what puts on a good show hardly the same truck will win it is close compition.

Ya its just what the doctor ordered but hard on overdrive clutches. I also got a overdrive lock out kit now, so maybe it'll last longer and if I dyno at Schieds it will put down a solid 600hp plus or maybe I'll just claim a spike. (HA HA) Ya hurry up and get your butt home we have some pulling to do.
 
Id like to see the results from all the CMPA pulls. Cause The only time I didnt see justin edward win was when he broke both times. And Rod Tarr took the win followed by Kevin Cole and Disposable Income. And 5th and 6th place were MO trucks also
 
heard the other night disposable income might be out of the running heard his motor went south anybody else heard this?
 
Ya it did a week or 2 ago. He should be up and going now. Forgot what all they said he did.
 
This is true Dane beat me in MO. I beat him twice in Il. Benn beat me in Il. I HAVE BEAT BENN IN MO. Granted I only made it to two hooks this year and that will be it, but I have not been impressed yet.

i think We should have an IL.vs.MO battle top WS trucks 2,6 trucks and 3.0 trucks. you know just take the top 10 trucks or 5 truck in each class and make it kinda like a our states better than yours kinda deal

Does that 2.8 make that big a diff on your truck Ron??
 
Bens trying to make this one heck of a rivalry! It will turn into a big fight afterwards or something haha! Be like the Cardinals and Cubs. When was the last time the Cubs won the big show? Been a while. Just messin. But having an event like that would be cool. Or a Midwest vs. World would be interesting. Should I try and make a MO vs. IL pull? 100% payback? If we have a good turnout it would be great.

Yes and no. It came off the line better with the 2.6 but I think the 2.8 pulls harder when going. 200cfm more air must mean something. I had too much fuel for a 66. But we didn't get to see what it would actually do since intake blew up.

As for the Ill vs MO if you want to make it a 2.6 class I'll have to change my turbo back but thats MO bs rules. If you go up north in IL they run 2.8 rules on there sanctioned classes.

Got it figured out Freeburg,IL August 15, nice track, always nice pull and turn out. I also think Doug is suppose to be back in town that week.
 
that would be a good weekend. what do you think all illinois boys, and missouri boys
 
whats the rules at freeburg? and i dont remember any one booing dane at st. gen. but i was on the track
