Best 3.0 Trucks

Well anyone invited. But will have an IL vs. MO class. You say a 2.6 class is a MO bs thing. Why is it that DHRA and NADM run a 2.6 class then? So I guess its a MO, DHRA, NADM, Scheids, and on and on thing is what you meant to say right?

OK, so more than MO has it big Whoopty Doo. Schied also has a 2.8 class, I think Indiana runs a 2.8 class. I guess your just afraid to pull against some of IL better trucks so you just want to keep them out with a 2.6 class. Why don't you just shut your mouth come over here to Freeburg on the 15th, I'll hand your butt back to you and you can go home crying because you got beat by an IL truck. I still have my HTT66/71/16 so I'm not afraid to come pull against you if you do choose a 2.6 class in MO, unless you decide to not allow dual pumps.Oh ya, I think you were also the one that said commonrails didn't impress you, they were just dyno queens. Want some ,Well come and get you some commonrail.

I didn't start this IL vs MO thing and so far all the guys I've met from MO have been great guys. But sooner or later someone has to go make a big thing of it and then its put up or shut up time.

There is a reason i drive eight hours every thursday to pull in IL. Best 3.0 class hands down. Dont get me wrong black crow and twisted goat run good and compete but it is not even close. I pull with the IL ITPA every weekend and also With The MO CMPA. One night rodd will win another black crow, justison has been winning some, my big truck has been top 4 most pulls. ITs so tight competition that you never know who will win. But from pulling with them every weekend IL hands down, top 4 of the top 5 99% of the time.

Thanks Wes, you guys are a great bunch and welcome in IL any day. Hope to see you in Lincon, Il on sat.

the 2.8 class in missouri kinda went down the waste side people like jahnsen don't really have a good place to pull.

i heard 2 weeks ago a certain black regular cab out of Sandwich IL went down to Petersburg Il for the ITPA pull and put about 15 feet on everyone else. needless to say there were some unhappy pullers down there

I also heard (I was not there) that he should have been dq'd for multiple reasons. good guy but he got away with some definate rule violations.

i also was not there, just heard from a friend. i dont know itpa's rules, might i ask whih might have been broken

So 3.0 charger trucks are what people are after right now.... Hmmm....

Cory, clear the barn, I got an idea..... Its time for the stable mate....:evil

I know he had a helmet and gloves on.

Did they measure the hitch height on any of the trucks that night?

I was there and saw that he did not have gloves on. Yes he did have a helmet. They started measure the first five trucks and then stoped. With itpa you only get tech once a year so you have to go when they do it. But you can run three times with them and not get tech in after that you have to get tech in.

I think your the one getting a bit carried away. All in good fun. Maybe read back a little where we talked about it not getting into a pissing match.

Sorry 2Tone I might have read into it to much. Hope there is no foul and maybe someday we can pull together if I can keep the freeze plugs in my head.

I guess that is what happed then blew another freeze plug? Man that sucks i feel for you.. Well on a side note at least we know how to fix this problem!

Knock on wood, I made it through this weekend with no breaks! Then my wife bent my traction bar into a U in the powder puff class.

Ya the second one on #4 cylinder blew out this time, right next to the other #4 plug I just fixed. Started doing my home work on this one and seem to be figuring out more rpm's= more water pump speed= more psi in coolant system= -1 freeze plug under valve cover. I am also starting to wonder if you start moving the water to fast how efficiently it is cooling. Starting to look for a coolant bypass system.

It took 2 1/2 hrs to get head off and Phase II should have done tommorrow so should have on for Lively Grove this weekend. Also having them mill a slot in my studs since they don't have anyway to remove them other than double nutting them. Removing them kinda feels like this :kick:

Is your engine up to temp before you pull? Do you still have an unmodified thermostat?
