Best 3.0 Trucks

Yes I always have motor heat soaked and up to temp. No I have never modified thermostat. Is there something I should know with this.

I don't think it is pressure that pops the plugs in the head, unless you have already dealt with the plugs on the side of the block. On my truck I felt it was building too much heat in the head too fast. Then when the thermostat opened it let cooler water in and when the cool water hit the freeze plug and the higher pressure from the coolant system. Pop out the plug. I have popped 4 of the 5 in my head.

Well mine will be threaded now so hope that helps. What about a cooler thermastat? The ones that are blowing aren't even a 1/4 inch tall I don't think they have enough meat to hold. I don't know if it makes a difference or not but My head and valves are ceramic coated on combustion area and I have some other type of coating inside my exhaust ports in my head.
 
Well looks like IL has us MO guys hands down now. Black Crow is gone. Dont know what happened with Kevin Cole at Scheids or Jahnsen. But IL took 4 of the top 5 spots I believe. So 1-0 IL. I dont want a rematch til Edwards and them get another truck done haha
 
Talked to Jahnsen for a good while after the pull. he said that his truck kept cutting out due to the fuel shut off solenoid bein hooked to tight or was put on to hard while getting hooked up and was out most of the way and was makin the truck cut
 
Talked to Justin, looks like we will be looking for him driving a lim. pro tractor next year.
 
If you can't run with the Illinois trucks you have no choice but to go to a tractor. *bdh*
 
Last Illinois pull i was at in Freeburg it was 1stplace Illinois 2nd Missouri 3rd missouri

I'd say bigger name trucks 3.0 class they have us beat but for 2.6 class us missouri boys are holding down the fort. I hardly ever see a illinois truck crossing the river.

Freeburg. I think i should have had ron but we both made bad desions in the pull off. Mine was badder.
 
Take into account I was out of hookin this summer KMAN. Maybe next year I will be back to pull. I have no problem crossing the river to hook.
 
Oh now Benn Rons truck was a 2.6 till this spring when we dyno'd. Did you hook at Schieds Benn? If so how did you guys do.
 
No argueing that 2.6 class huh Ben lol!! We will see how we do in Indy for the NADM pull. Trying a new set up this week at mokane. Hoping to get the rpms up. Got to get the truck squared away before that national. Im sure them guys will all be ready.

When Is NADM indy? And what are the 2.6 rules?? Can i run my duels there?

Its an invitation/qualification only pull. Its at the 4x4 Jamboree. The 2.8 and up classes are going to be huge. They have the lineup on the NADM forum. But dont believe Dual cp3's are legal. Think that goes for most big pulls/organizations. If you couldnt beat me with 2 you sure arent beating me with one lol, just messin! You should come to Mokane to the Show-Me Smokers pull on Sunday. Ill be there. Might run in the open class. That motor is on its last leg so trying to get it squared away and pull as little as possible so it doesnt go out on me before the Jamboree in Indy. Should come and spectate even if your not going to pull. Its going to be awesome.
