Big Single Questions

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ at columbus had them do an 8cly p-pump it was $4200 Call Diesel Controls INC at of massillon ohio

Haha a gentleman never tells. Got it narrowed down to 2. Gonna be Harts or Columbus. Believe cam will be from Columbus as well. And they make some good stuff for the big chargers as well. So.... Whos knows. Been in touch with Harts a couple times a week and working on some stuff with them as well. Someone is doing some checking for me on items from Columbus for the pump and injectors. If Columbus pulls through everything will be coming from them.

I might have something comming from them also it has a 13 numbers and mm letters ;).

They got my vote...my truck has never driven so good!

I didn't find the price high at all after I drove it, well worth the difference I paid from the other shops pump that wouldn't run right;)

I attempted to get a price on a 13 mm ag pump from them and was told they couldnt do it right now cause they had no cores. Could only get me an automotive gov pump. Figured they didnt wanna sell a pump to bad and moved on. Still going through them on a couple things like cam and exhaust housing on turbo.

Well there is a way to get rpms out of a auto gov 13mm pump..... Now where is serious when you need them....

Not running an automotive gov. People like you telling people stuff like that is why alot of us do things 5 times over before we get it right!! You know darn good and well you arent buying an automotive gov pump in this situation haha

I'd do it.... Wait... Something is already in the works.

auto gov

Saw 6950 this year on an auomotive governor, a mishap between two pump shops working on the same pump and we lucked in to it. Works very well.

When u say cam u mean pump cam or motor cam

Engine cam. Well anyhow, not running an automotive gov. Dont have any questions on the pump. Got that figured out. Just weighing my options on turbos. The majority say run a 3.4 or 3.6 82 and it will be fine. But then the shop Ive been dealing with says they would be scared to run it unless getting billet rods. And I havent figured that into the finances as of yet.

Well thats the only secure way to do it. I guess its a matter of if you got the bals or not!:hehe:

I aint scared!! Just would suck to lose an injection pump cause I slung a rod through the side of it. Any suggestions on an 82 size?

Don't worry about that much the rods seem to always go out the exhaust side of the motor.

Why not go with something outside of the box, like a GT5533R, or a GT4718R.

Junk and Junk is what Ive heard from those turbos. If I run a Garrett I will run the GT4202R. Its a few steps back obviously. But think its the best 3.0 charger available. Just dont know how it will stack up in an unlimited single class for NADM
