Garrett im glad you finally got the bugs worked out wish i could of been there to help. When you come back to indiana ill be there for ya. It looked real good on the vid hope you get the water figured out. With the new charger the truck should be unstopable

I never said Badger had no competition for me. I generally go to National pulls, a lot of times they are the same time as BTPA hooks.. I can't be in two places at once.

I do hit brush pulls, but lots of times I am invited to them to put on a show..

But hey, I don't have to explain why I schedule the way I do.
The no Competition text never happened because of me, because I never said it.

I respect the members in Badger and enjoy competing with them, I never said anything to belittle them or their trucks.

You have some real tools for supporters that are making you look bad. I know it is not all your fault since you can't control what they do or say. I was at TS and met a few of them. They were not doing you or your business any favors. If you can't figure out why people get a little pissed off at you, maybe you should pay closer attention to the pee-ons that follow you around and are destroying your name and business. "Pure Diesel Power" stickers litter the front, back, side, top, and bottom of Dodge trucks all parked together at a lot of pulls I go to. Most of the people surrounding those trucks taunt and insult everyone that walks by that don't have a Cummins or a Dodge shirt on. That reflects back to you. Anyone that has ever met you would probably wonder how you could strike a nerve with anyone. They obviously have not seen or heard a lot of the people that follow you around. They are the problem, not you, Garrett. It does reflect bad on you and your business since you have done nothing to try and keep these people in line. They were doing it at TS this year and if it keeps up, there is going to be a lot more bad blood. If you don't know what I'm talking about or choose to act as if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you deserve every bit of bad publicity you are getting. If you open your eyes, it should not be hard to find the "bad seeds" that are doing this and put an end to it. It is up to you.:thankyou2:

I couldnt have said it better!!! I own my own shop and I support my family of 6 and a fleet of dozens of trucks by running my own shop but guess what? I have a Pure Diesel Power decal on almost every single truck I own including my wifes Hemi! Why? Because just as said...Garrett and Diva are outstanding young people who take care of their customers and they have given me hundreds of dollars in free t-shirts, sweatshirts, and decals to help advertise their business. I dont even advertise my business as much as I advertise his. I will also drop everything on a drop of a dime to go help Garrett and Larae whenever it is possible for me to do so. Garrett speaks HIGHLY of many pullers who are competition to him anytime Im with him and not just the Dodge pullers. He knows he has competition but he does it all in good sport for fun and advertising. Everyone who does pull loves to win or do well including myself who doesnt pull anything but work stock class. When I do well I love to brag how well I done but I also will be the first to congratulate the guys who kick my butt out there. If there is some unknown law out there that states you have to give customers an IQ test before selling them a part or wrenching on their truck I want to know where to find it. Not everyone carries around a bag of common sense (as seen at TS) but everyone deserves a fair share of respect until they prove they dont deserve it! I see it all the time in my small community in Iowa. My younger hired guy doesnt like a few of my best customers but he knows enough to keep his mouth shut when they are on my doorstep. As long as all of us live (or until the government shuts it down) there will be sled pulling with trucks and competition among the diff brands thinking their sack swings harder than the others but we all do it for the same reason....either for fun or free advertising but usually both! Just try to overlook bashing and have fun trying to be best at it! Get the chip off your shoulder and go back to having fun!

Maybe you noticed that particular one at TS, but I go all over, its the same everywhere, every make, every shop.

X2 You can't cant help what customers do that do buisness with you, as long as your not provoking and showing that kind of behavior, it's just the way life is. What are you suppose to stop selling them stuff?

Met Garrett once and seemed like a good guy and keeps his smoke on the track and lets his truck do the talkin

You really dont have a clue what your talking about do you? For every product a company like Pure Diesel Power sells and gives a shirt, hat, sticker, etc. away. Its for advertising. You don't sign a release form saying you will not get in trouble while wearing/owning this shirt, hat, or sticker. He does that because he takes care of the customers and fans because he is a great business. And if people like you choose to judge him and his company by the way some drunk redneck acts that bought a gauge or something and got a free shirt. Then that is your opinion. But in REALITY... Thats not how it works. So unless you see GARRETT AND HIS "CREW" doing these things dont judge him cause he does one hell of a job taking care of his customers and doing what he can to make them happy. Your way off on this one man!

well said this is getting ridiculous garret is a good guy so what if he said he but 7 foot on the top truck there is plenty of that on here so go yell at them about it. I dont see why everybody is getting so edgy about it he hooked exhibition and thats it so everybody needs to get of his back and quit hijacking the thread. Congrats on the hook on friday garret i wish i was able to run againt you on saturday myself. The truck is running awsome brother keep it up

but this goes right along with some of your duramax followers. look at some of the WI pulling videos posted on youtube and there are some smart remarks along the lines of BOBO's dmax would.... ;) you have a few bad seeds too

At least you werent the Pizza Hut Delivery guy that got an ear full from Larae!

Personally I give folks credit and think that they will/can make there own informed decision of any diesel performance shop. If they think the shop sucks and there basing that decision on few kids who are acting like dick heads then their most likely not folks I would to do business with anyway.

Ive known the Shields along time and never seen or heard a cross word come from thier mouths.I had a realy good hook in Racine and Garret was the 1st guy to walk up and say damn,nice hook Dave.In fact at 315 feet I seen LaRae beside the track cheering me on-----thats good truck pulling!

I'll say this much I have been friends with Garrett for over 3 years. I have ordered alot of stuff from him in that time & sent alot of people to him. He's never treated me or my friends wrong & is very honest when asked questions. If there was a problem with shipping (wrong part delivered from a company ext) he always jumped on it ASAP even if I told him it wasn't a rush. I count him as one of my many friends in this industry, don't really care what people say about him. I know Garrett & LeRae as friends not just another sales team.

& that's why I keep going back & sending more people to them.
 
Garrett and company are great folks, sorry to those who don't like them, they have alot of followers because of the nice people they are. As for TS, I believe it was the folks in Pure Diesel Power shirts who were walking around being heckled by others saying PDP sucks because Garretts truck had a bad run there.

In the words of Katt Williams- "If you ain't got haters, you ain't doing something right" LOL
