Buda Dyno Day 2010

I am going to try to make it in from NM for the event. had a BLAST Buda 08 and want to go again.
 
Phatboy, did I meet you in Albuquerque, NM. last may? at the 10,000ftlb of tq dyno for charity?
 
No word yet, after last years police presence we thought we should look for another venue with racing of maybe a Sledpull and try to contain the majority of it on some kind of private grounds but the plans haven't been finalized yet as is is pretty expensive to do. We may contact the new owners of ART and try one more year, and hope for the best.

have yall talked to somebody like San Antonio raceway? if you could find a mobile dyno, and then there could be drag racing, burnout contest, and show-n-shine, then it could possibly be all kept in their grounds, and if someone wants to show their a$$, then they are on their own once they get out of the front gate.. just a thought...
 
i know the owner of SAR, u want me to give them a call and see what he will allow or what it would cost?
 
Yeah that would be great. We usually try for the Second weekend in March to the Second weekend in April time frame, see what you can find out and I will find a mobile dyno or two.
 
ok i got his ears, what all are you wanting to have there, the second weekend in april is taken by the diesel drags in dallas, so i will talk to him about second weekend in march, u want a all day saturday, u want sled pulls, burnout contest, drag races, show and shine? anything else im missing or anything, i will also discuss about how much it cost to rent the track for a day anymore questions i should ask pm me or e-mail me bagged93gmc@yahoo.com
 
long time ago...if its the dyno out of gainesville/north texas are (dynotex) its been sold. and the only other one that comes to texas on occasion is floor=its dyno, and i know alot of folks question its accuracy. lott might have had maddog come down ( i neber went when he had a dyno) but i think hes sold too, he was out of the northwest anyways(utah i think)
 
Just have it at buda and have a cop there in advance to keep everyone under control
 
I think what makes Buda "Buda" is all the people goin out there in the Coldasack and having a good time, and all the beer drinking that ges on. I think if you put a cop there for sure, then you are going to lose alot of people after this year. I say just have it at Buda and take ur chances, people seemed to chill out when the cops showed up, but still managed to cut loose and have fun when they weren't.

Well all that beer drinking and cuttin up is what has gotten all the neighbors and law enforcements attention. Bad attention is what it is and it has to be calmed down because last years antics is what has us looking for a new place to hold it. I don't think the neighbors like us anymore and I know the new owners of ART don't want mad neighbors.
