Buda Dyno Day 2010

well we really need to go somewhere im getting bored down here in south texas so buda or san antonio i think san antonio would blow up with people if we could get the word out or see what happens in buda without cops cause the burnouts are awesome but the MAN wont let us have any fun.
 
im just waiting for y'all to tell me what i need to talk to him abount, what all u want to have there and what not.
 
Ya move it to NM so I don't have to drive 13 hours to make Buda haha...

O and you could get away with anything in NM. it's like the police wear horse blinders there..
 
i talked to the san antonio raceway owner today and he just wants to set up a meeting basically with who would be in charge of planning, so i passed his number on
 
Oh man! I just watched the vid of the camaro on Henessey's home page......I think I J'ed in my P's!

Doubt they would like us there but it sure would be fun to go there.....maybe they would wanna have some competition.
 
Hennessey builds some of the sickest cars I have seen and its all top notch no corners cut whatsoever. I talked with them awhile back about having a few trucks for like a day deal a few pulls on the dyno maybe a little drag racing and checking out some of there sweet rides and they were down I cant remember what there pricing was just off hand though. I would think that if enought people would come out the usuall buda crowd maybe a few magazines come out and cover the event even get some gas/diesel grudge racing dyno and the right price im sure it would spark there interest and there facility is top notch.

Yeah, I got on their site too just going to glance lol I ended up watching all the videos and spending like an hour and a half on their site lol
 
BUDA DYNO I'd say the guys at A.R.T. are the only ones that can dyno that many trucks in a day.
They have always worked their tails off for the BUDA DYNO.

the BUDA DYNO has too many cops digging around now. i don't know what all has changed at ART with the new owner, but dynoing around 120 trucks in a weekend is a lot of work. that would never happen on a mobile dyno in a weekend, but i would be down for drag racing as well and i know DRD has guys down for sled pulling. LOL.

I agree with you about the BAD attention. If it keeps up like it has it will KILL our sport. People just need to remember that there is a time and a place for most of what is perceived as "BAD" and at a dyno in a public area and on public streets is not the place for it. Just try to use a little common sense and think about what people (that are and that are not in the sport) think of the way you act while at these events and when youre driving your trucks.
 
It's not the cops that are the problem. If some people would act right and not be dumb a$$es, like years past, there would be no cops out there. It sucks that because people are jacka$$es, we have to look for a new spot
