Bullet Proof Drive Line....

MMMM That's the same kinda stuff the guy said that tryed to sell use on cryoing the mower blades.... Watch Modern Marvels on the history chanel...the episode called the worlds sharpist. They did a nice presentation on how freezing metal to 265* below 0 makes metal brittle!

Everyone seems to have their opinion on the Cryoed parts.. Some swear by them.. others don't... Some of the metal guys I've talked to said to warm them back to X temp afterwards...
About like anything else on the internet.. if you don't find the answer you are looking for.. just keep searching.. haha..
It would be interesting to see how long the blades would have lasted if you didn't hit something hard.. Many that use cutter blades for other things swear by them... but they are not hitting hard things with them... or not at the speed a deck blade would...

Front axle is the factory 96 Dana 60 with a EMS Free Spin Kit and all 35 spline 4340 forged Moser axles with 1480 joints, it will be getting 5.XX gears and an air locker along with dually spacers and adapters to match the rear lug pattern...

Rear axle is a disk brake 37 spline Dana 80 HD unit from a Ford Motorhome (F-Superduty), it will get the same gears as the front and most like a welded carrier or a spool...

T-case will be a 271 from a 03+ 5 speed truck so I can use the 1480 driveshaft...

Tranny will be a full billet Suncoast unit...

The rearend will be going under the truck around June, and hopefully the tranny will be too at the same time...I will have less than 3 weeks to swap the rearend, tranny, and do what I can to the engine...I plan to cut everything I can off the rear of the truck cause I am going to pull the bed when I do the rearend to lighten the rear up alot...Probably do a roll pan too...

PM me. I'm sure I can help the rear end problem out! Been solved for 2 yrs now and no problems.:rockwoot:
