It will be GREAT to see a d-max running in the mod class!!! The sport needs this! Spectators have somthing other than a cummins to root for/talk about!

That is why we are building a 2wd mod to give the growd something different wheelei's and smoke( I hope)It is still going to be a Cummins.

I'm hopeing to run with them.But I have seen 2wd beat 4x4 before.i 2006 We put on a pull called the Gateway Power Challenge and had a class called king of the hill if you could make 8000lb you could run in it. 1st place was John Kendrick a 2wd with a 572 ci alky not blown weight was 6700lb 2nd place was Van Haisley 8000lb john got Van by 9ft.I can't find the video I wish I still had because alot of people don't beleave it.I just want to be different.and try something new ran a minirod for over 25 yr.time for a change.:woohoo:

Yeah...the two wheelers are hard to beat, we had to run with them from time to time and they always though!!! I think your on the right track, building a 2 wheeler... once ya get it all figured out that will be the end of ya running with the 4x4's... their goin to kick ya out of their class!
 
They will find some way to make it a even playing feild. I was hopeing MR.Watson would build a 2wd.Ther are a few chassies out there for sale.It is cheapper to build a 2wd then a 4x4.Same motor and turbo's $$$$$$$$$ and clutch and clutch can,the cost of a reverser and a dropbox is close to a 3sp profab .you have one less driveshaft and no front driveaxle.only 2 pulling tires insteed of 4.bodies are the same.Easier to build a chassi.

2wpuller, you comin to indiana this year? Id like to see your puller and watch ya...The only thing about a 2wheeler is it's a balancing act... weight in the wrong place or a soft place in the track...and you night is bout over.
 
Planing on going to Indiana.Doctor told me I have 6 more week off for my schoulder mabey I'll get some work done on the 2wd.

I went to get tested so I could go to work last week wed,They wanted me to put 55lb above my head in a milkcrate started off with 20lb I got it just obove my Eyes and the pain hit like I got shocked with my mag,on my minirod.Soo now they have me doing work hardening and playing with weights I feel like a little kid only benching 20lb.Hell only a year ago I still could put a 400turbo tranny on my chest and bench it up into place.It's just sucks getting old turned 51 yesterday.Igues the 6 more weeeks just give me quality time in the garage with the 2wd and put what parts I have together.I need some more sponsor's
So when the truck get's running it will only have what it take to get it running .No water injection and no data system stuff like that.I'm useing some charger's I have laying around the garet was off of a detroit and I have a HT4C that we were going to use for a set of steet twins.Untill I get back to work and start to making some money T afford a set like BBD has just afto do with what I have.It is still going to be fun going down the track with the wheels up and the smoke flying.:st:

You know I have been off to long I am starting to learn to type and spell a little better.:hehe:
