While I am all for a 2.5" class. I will not run it. My built engine has too low a compression to work with it IMHO. So that SuperStreet 3.0" Which is fine but open drive line. No one over here run that. I am would be fooling myself thinking I could run with the likes of Ingram. No offesnse but I think the class gap is worse now.

Good Luck

Water allow in Super Street?
Filled blocks as well?
What about rockwells and drop boxes?

All that stuff WAS allowed, so yeah, it's all that and a bag of chips.

Water and open drive line in SS? My ? is where do the 70+ 2.8 steet trucks go?

Street Diesel at 2.5???

Is there an exemption for trucks that come STOCK with a charger bigger than that?

Well they have really messed this up. Work Stock is fine but Street should be at least a 2.6 not only do the 2.8 trucks have a big jump but what about the guys running a 66 charger.

come on Nate it doesn't say you have to have a 3.0 charger LOL, I have been saying for the last 2 years that there is to much of a difference in classes, they have just screwed up BAD since I would guess most people that were 2.8 pullers will not jump to a non streetable class nor will they throw away there 2.8 chargers and big fuel systems and drop down to a 2.5 class .

what I don't understand is why mess with your largest class ?

You guy's whined for two years wanting a 2.5 or 2.6 class now here it is. What a joke!!!

We don't sled pull, but I believe DHRA is going even farther in the wrong direction with these rule changes, if anything, there should be a class between street diesel and super street. And what about the guys running twins, according to the rules, anyone with twins would have to run in the Modified class. At this rate, 2009 will be DHRA's last season.

Street should stay 2.8 with no bushing and no rpm limit.

I agree fully that is what I have been saying. I think bushings in any class just allow things to get out of hand just my opinion.

DHRA should have made the Work Stock class 2.5" and left the Street Diesel class at 2.8" if they wanted a 2.5" class so bad. Even sledpuller wouldn't have done something this stupid.

actually I think a 12V could do well in the 2.5 class, you can get some pretty tricked out 2.5 chargers, but still the no 2.8 class is STUPID. but I guess it saves us all alot of fuel $$ next year no need to travel to the DHRA hooks. MAN WISH SLEDDY WAS STILL AROUND !!!!

Look's like all the D-max's will be trading in there Aurora 5K's for the Aurora 2K's
