dress up under the hood

Just had mine powdercoated last week .

i did actually haha. after these pics were taken i painted it gloss black. Looks so much better. (hint: dont drink lots of beer if there is a can of "chrome" spray paint layin around in the shop) hahahaha

i know, i tried to "repair" a rusty place in my old bumper......:badidea:

decited to go with orange my self.......when i clear coated the blue it bubled up.....so i had to re do it agian, selt etching primer is the key lol

It would if the manifold and exhaust housing were black! I been thinkin about goin jd green too

Definitely go with the black! I think jd green would be too much, plus you can get the vht flame proof paint. Works pretty darn good.
 
No I was talkin a bout changin the valve cover to green, and painting the exhaust parts black!
 
Here is a shot under my hood for you also.That Common Rail motor in Orange/Black is sweet looking......Andy

P.S.-Hey Picaso....I may need your paint can expertise for some touch up work under the hood,LOL.

J/K.......I just got mine done Thurs. night. I went with yellow cause I hadn't seen to many that color. Guess I was wrong. :doh:

Mine is JD yellow, yours looks a little different! you are the copycat!:poke:
