any noise difference LKuilder?

Well after driving the truck today I'd say there wasn't much noise difference with the insulation removed. The truck is pretty loud to begin with having the 5" exhaust on it. (it does have the muffler but it is still pretty loud) The only real difference I could tell was I could hear the turbo a bit more. That's about it.

Im painting my engine black this time around....But now that i see yours Texas Cowboy... i want mine Red again...:bang

Looks Good!!!!:rockwoot:

I traded the last guy an air filter for valve cover, intake piping, twins piping, etc. The actual powder costs less than $3. The labor getting the parts smooth and prepped is where the cost lies.

Yeah, I got an extra valve cover in the garage that is stripped down It just needs some paint. But i do want to mill of the DODGE and the two ribs that are next to it, but leave everything else.

Thanks on the valve cover answers. I've seen them in genos garage and figured they were off of the motors in other trucks besides the Dodges. So I figured Cummins carried them just not sure if anyone else carried them. Got a GREAT place here in Nashville for powder coating so that's no problem for me if its a bare metal piece. Like the looks of them and figured one would look good under my hood.
Whats the place in Nashville for powder coating? i thought about doin somethin like that to mine one day.

Superior Sandblasting & Powder Coating I would recommend them to anyone. They do a great job! They have done all of our frames, wheels, and many other parts for our monsters as well as just about anything else we need coated. His color selection is VERY impressive and trust me in that he is VERY picky about his work and how it turns out. He does just about anything including many motorsports and automotive related parts and other things. Send me a message if you would like contact information for them. I just can't say enough that I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Every piece of piping and my valve cover is supposed to be done at the podercoater today....pics to come shortly.
