Ecm cuts fuel when sensing "Runaway" myth.......testing complete!

My friend was telling me that the valet switch cuts power in half. I definately couldn't tow my machine with 300hp & a 64 charger.

I dont know if this helps you out, but I have a P-pumped 24v with 200's and a 64. I can not tow 10,000 in valet mode....heck it sucks to drive empty in valet mode, it just wont light the charger. Thats with a built auto and 4.10 rear.

Adjust the pre-boost screw in some more.

You can almost totally negate the effects of the aneroid by adjusting the screw,I had mine set as low as 200 rwhp or up to over 450 with it in valet mode.

Good info on the power source Jamie. I had suspicions of that and have wanted to try it for a long time just too lazy. If I ever go back to a single I'll pull something heavy after the conversion and tell you how it works out.

What power level is that truck at?
 
Something else I wanted to mention. I shut my truck down in the pits last night waiting to pull. I turned the switch on, then started my truck [kinda hard start] Then I did a practice rev just to make sure it wasn't cutting out. I saw 4302 rpm this time before it started chopping & no check engine light? I did another practice run & still no light? Light never came on until I pulled.
 
stock injectors
stock HX35 or 40 not sure

clutch is done though...

probly under 300rwhp
 
Jamie, are you still running the 4k box? I need to send both of mine in. I probly wont run one again though b/c I'm going to sell it for P-pump funds.
