i was just looking at the 50 fastest lists for cummins and dmax we have what
two 11 second trucks on ours they have what 15 10 second and faster trucks and alot of 11 and 12 second trucks maybe we should post the lists up over there see what happens lol
 
I think a lot of peopledon't pay attention to those lists... I didn't even know one existed. There are a lot of 10 and 11 sec Cummins trucks.

but you can't argue w/ a Dmax... if you build the bottom end, they are beasts... 6.6 liters of displacement, cylinder heads that actually FLOW, EFI live capability, etc.

I love the Cummins because of the factory strength in the bottom end, the fuel mileage, the longevity, etc.

But I'm not going to deny props to the Dmax!
 
of course not seen some nice dmax's been beat by two of them myself
(even owned an 04 the reason i will never own a gm again)
I was just saying there is alot of smack talk and allover there but even there mighty EFI live hasnt made them the end all be all of drag racing
 
oh I hear ya... there's a reason this is the best board out there... the best of all diesel performance, no matter what the brand.
 
This is a great thing, I have been waiting for it for a long time. I just hope they can make it work for the older CR like mine. It will be great to know what is going on inside the motor, and what we are actually running for timing and to have some control over it.

Well said, I feel much the same way about the cummins.

Alot of you guys make me laugh, thats a dmax board this is a cummins board, everyone has their thing.

I used to hang out there alot when I was into messing with my Dmax (then I realized I would need to spend $30G's in one sit down to go alot further so I built my little inline ford) I think I hang out around here for the entertainment :Cheer:LOL

I like the idea Devon has bout trying to make a 06+ ECM work on a pre 06. Next thing you know their is a shortage of 06+ ECM's in the nation....
 
For all others 5.9 ... my stand alone will work for you ...

- no rpm limitation
- no fuel limitation
- no faking around
