EFILive will read Dodges.

Bob Wagner , step away from the furniture

I dont think PPE for the Dmax has thrown furniture with their handheld. As it was said over on the Dmax Forum. There will always be a need the handheld tuner. And whats to say Bob/Marco cant come out with something similar?

WOW!, there is a bunch of ignorance on that site....... I put my helmet on this morning, therefore i remember how to put it on???

They are pretty worked up over this eh ?

this is good for everyone , the bar is going to get raised ,

can you imagine Caged Furry with a CR injection set up, Dennis please don't line it up east to west , the time zones might change . or nort to south , Gore predictions might come true

did I just mention Al Gore on this froum please Tim don't wash my mouth out with soap

They say with only an intake, exhaust, and EFI live the D-Max can make it to right around 500 hp if the tranny can hold it. I wonder how far a Cummins would make it with only and intake, exhaust and EFI live. I'd imagine it would be right around in there too. But more torque! haha

Okay, I made it to page 4 before my gag reflex was uncontrollable...

About the 5th time I saw reference to the "Smarty" and such "already using the important tables" and all that nonsense I was done.

Can someone help me out here, but I was not aware that you guys had ANY access to ANY of the parameters nor functions in the ECU? And that the "Smarty" and "TST", "MP8" so on and so forth are nothing but interceptor boxes?

The guys on that site kept referring to tables and such.... WTF?

Secondly....

If with whatever number of boxes you want to stack on a truck, the timing/pulsewidth/rail is what you want, or what makes the most power there is nothing to be gained in tuning. If those three parameters are where you want them, boom. Done. There isn't any magic beyond that.

The Smarty's with Revo tuning can adjust timing, rail pressure, full fuel, and how fast the fuel is applied relative to boost (smoke). The TST and MP8 are signal fooler boxes.

i read up to page 3 and couldn't do it any more...these guys must not have been to schied...

you've got some learnin to do......

I doubt it.... but maybe, so go ahead and teach me how something that plugs into the system between the ECU and engine accesses tables in the ECU. Or are you guys reflashing the ECU's? I picture boxes stacked up under the hood plugging inline with sensors when I think about the rail and fueling boxes you guys are running.

And if the Smarty is reflashing the ECU, then what is so special about EFI live then? Obviously whomever is writing the programs stored in the Smarty already has access to the memory in the ECU. And unless they simply aren't as good at uncovering code as the EFI live guys are, nothing will change.

Well, a common rail can do almost 500 if not a bit more on just a tune from Smarty or BullyDog...

So is the smarty actually reflashing the EEPROM in the ECU itself? If so, then I retract my previous statements, lol.

I thought you guys were just intercepting and modifying signals this whole time.

My money as usual is on Marco, His next product release will be the tuning everyone is asking for.

Thanks

For all others 5.9 ... my stand alone will work for you ...

- no rpm limitation
- no fuel limitation
- no faking around

sounds promising? :rockwoot:

John Has been speeking very highly of you. Look forward to seeing whats up your sleeve
