equal length header or stainless manifold?

ok i would say steed speed is what i will get, seems better price and performance

The steed has not been back to back ran agaist a stailess diesel manifold on a truck. If it has someone post of the graphs and info from this test, and the stainless diesel manifold non polished and the steed speed are the same price. Unless some one is giving guys deals different then listed prices.

^^ I also agree. Show numbers to support the claims. Of course people who sale a certain product are going to talk it up over the other. I'm in the market for a manifold and considering both stainless and steed. I'm sure both are great but without numbers who really knows which is better. It's all just guessing

Since we're talking steed manifolds, I read you cant flip the angled ones. I need one fliped on my compounds to replace my cracked HTT one.

It can be flipped but why when you can just order the right part? The gate(if you get that bit) and fittings for pryro would be upside down if flipped also.

Running a single now but may have twins in the future.

Ok so with out a wastegate its just like any other manifold and can be flipped.

Yes, and I think waste gates will work upside down too LOL If there is clearance.

Mind as well order it flipped up ready for twins, run your single in the secondary location until your ready to bolt on primary and piping.

^^^ or just buy a stainless diesel manifold you can run it stock postion or flipped and pretty much any manufactures twin kit will work perfect with out having to be re fabbed anything. That way you can run a single however you want in up postion or stock and go twis later and not worry about aking for the right angle when made.

And the pyro ports are still upside down while having to run a spacer for a gate if you want one. Or You can just order the standard steed with pyro ports on both sides so it'll work no matter what. Best thing about steed is not only the amazing flow percentages but the option of the gate which others do not offer. Heres my steed straight t6 comp header

Or you order a standard stees speed that will do the exact same thing, come with a lifetime warranty, already coated, and have the option of a built in wastegate with your billet manifold instead of some junk cast manifold that doesnt flow as well.

But how do I put an external gate on the stainless diesel manifold? Don't say one of those spacers as I don't have room.

How do you not have room most twin kits reguire a spacer anyways but do what you want. I am just giving info. Oh and on the lifetime warranty you guys keep throwing out there that brings this video to mind. All I know is I bought what I on my checking of manifold to be the best looking and best for my money if I wanted something welded and that rust I would have just keep the stock manifold. Oh and I want proof that the steed out flows or puts more hp back to back to a stainless, and ya stainless diesel is a casted peice casted stainless not steel or machined steel and has never had a failure in two years and they have been running for those to years on high hp pullers and drag trucks.
