equal length header or stainless manifold?

My manifold with its lifetime warranty! Not that I need it anyway.. 2 years of punishment and not a crack or an issue!! Won't buy anything else ever again!

LMAO again i had Stainless diesel manifold, its a nice piece i would just rather have a solid billet piece thats repairable with a lifetime warranty so if something goes wrong the Steed Speed will take care of it. If if you want them out of stainless billet that can be done as well, manifolds come coated so no rust to worry about and no failures yet! Steed has been building billet manifolds for years perfecting the market. The new powerstroke 6.0 and 6.4 manifolds are bad to the bone. Weve had had no failures yet but not to worry cause ive worked with Steed Speed on any custom configuration ive needed. For the average guy a Stainless diesel manifold is fine, for customers who want the best quality, warranty, and hp, they go steed speed. Like i said before i bought a stainless manifold then when Leen sent me a steed speed i was SOLD, theres nothing better on the market and he will work with his dealers to make a custom product. Stainless manifold just comes up short.

^^^ where is your proof that steed beats stainless for HP or Flow stop saying this unless you can back it up. This just adds another reason I would have never bought a steed and would never recommend one to anyone ever Stainless Diesel has never went out and said there stuff is better then someone elses without it being back to backed against the other. Saying and making claims that are not proven is just plain bad business.

Not bad business just a better product, i really dont care if you buy one or not. lol
I noticed a drop in egt's and better spool up just from the swap. Garrett from pure diesel power said they have seen a 30hp increase if i remember correctly. Easy W/G option is enough to sell me instead of having to buy a spacer and pipe. Cleaner setup and dont have to deal with welding cast stainless to change up your setup.

Glad you enjoy your manifold, when your ready you can step up to the competition manifold and really outflow the stainless manifold.

how do the steed coatings hold up over time?

A sledpuller on here that put 2 very extreme seasons on one still had the coating intact and not a single issue, he stepped up to the bigger manifold as well.

Once again where is this proof. How many times and how many people have to ask to see the dyno sheet proof of a back to back test. If you can't show it and back it up then it is wrong to make a claim that it out performs and puts the Stainless to shame, Its also called false advertising.

It's better because tmoney says it is. Can't say I have ever seen a debate that was lost by him on these forums.

I saw a steed at indy last year, and decided to buy the stainless diesel 1 piece. Our customers love them, so that's all that matters.

+1 for the stainless diesel manifold.

When I decide to do something different, my truck will have a steed speed on it.

Still no proof. Lol if you don't care if anyone's buys them why are you claiming they are so much better ? And why are you a dealer for them?

Just seen Ashley Blacks Steed manifold. It's only been on a year and it's rusting up the coating is coming off . He said another one he has is doing it to .

Ive YET to see a issue with a stainless manifold... they are awsome people to work with and help you in any way they can........... and if steed is so bad ass im sure there is someone doing the testing between the two for max performance and quality and we will be seeing it..... ill make sure i call garrett and ask just to make sure about the "testing" and see.... Personaly id say stainless all the way size/flow, looks, yet to see a issue in cracking! i dont see a problem with them yet!

I see a lot of stainless diesel fans talking now.

I'm still up in the air between the two.

What is the claim to fame for the stainless manifolds?

Less heat loss, spools better due to better heat retention?

I just dont care if he buys one, its a great piece and if you can see the competition manifold next to the stainless manifold youd be a idiot to say it doesnt flow more.

Coating coming off? Send it back, want it stainless just ask!

I have had great luck with the Stainless diesel. The Stainless diesel piece had HP gains over the 3 piece. I haven't seen any comparisons between the SS and the steedspeed.

How much for the t3 steed speed SS with a gate setup for a 50mm JGS?

Ill shoot you a price monday, the stainless manifold is a great piece and deff answered the call when we were tired of dealing with a cracking 3piece.

Well I might be a idiot but I'd like to see scientific proof to prove it's so much better, but that's just me. And I'm not knocking steed or stainless I think they both look like good pieces. Just don't like to hear claims with no actual info to back them up

What about weight? I've held a Steed in one hand and a Stainless Diesel in the other. My regret is that I didn't weigh them when I had a chance. It felt like the Steed weighed twice what the Stainless weighed- that's not necessarily a good thing.

seems to me cant go wrong either way, IMHO the stainless ones look nicer and the fact that it turns blue after it is ran is nice against the rusty looking ones but its still a toss up for me i havent decided :stab:
