Most of these after the first 5 or so are street legal. I just drove mine back from Boise 350 miles. I rather drive my 1/2 ton on a regular basis however.
 
last friday at texas diesel shootout Eric was able to up his best with a 10.73.Sorry the slip was a little crumbled.

Are you kidding me? Whats it matter? My 5.30 1/8th puts me at a 8.20 1/4 if you really wanted to get technical. I was running a 1/8 100%, shut it down at the 1/8 and coasted to a 8.8 @ 115, whats so hard to believe in that.

Never posted a time slip for you yet, now you want one......:nail:
 
Because this is a 1/4 mile sheet and you put yourself in front of another competitor that has run a 8.801 @ 154 mph.

If you want to bump a proven competitor, at least be man enough to show the facts.

This isn't about guessing what you should of run, but what you DID run.

Why am I not surprised.

If I build a Rail / Car with a Dmax... And I find some extra power that I want to keep secret for now... I go out and run a pass that I KNOW is quicker than the Banks rail and I LIFT early and COAST to a 7.10 at only 130mph...

Does that not EARN me a place on this list??????

How is it UNFAIR to the "proven" competitor that time is UNDER the next highest time!

Would you have Rather him just pin it and run the rev limiter all the down the 1/4 and possible run and even Quicker time??

That's why we want to see his slip or let him tell us what it was ( boasting or being a liar is not what Jesus teaches, so I'll believe him ). Is it faster than 8.801 of the #3 competitor. If he ran a 8.800, than he is # 3, if not, than he shouldn't of placed himself in front of a competitor that is #3.

We don't give a rat's a$$ what he thought it should run, but what it did run in the 1/4 mile. This has been a great list and fair, don't need speculation in it.

I think that is simple enough and been this way for years.

Two things:

I AGREE that if it wasn't quicker than the previous #3's 8.801, Than NO is doesn't belong in #3 spot.

Wade only posted / mentioned what the calculator shows as a supposed 1/4 mile time, HAD he had the gear for it..... He did NOT post that supposed time in the list...

Am I wrong?

This is a list. It shouldn't be about ego's, should haves, could haves, going to's. There are all the other threads for that.

I guess I have a dog in the fight (being the next one bumped), but I won't get my underwear in a wad over it! People have asked me to post timeslips or videos showing the ET when I have sent in an update, and I have complied.

Just an aside - Are the weights supposed to be with driver? IIRC - the 3268 for Dirtymax is what we weighed at tech for Topeka, but it was with me in it (170 lbs) but a bunch of parts removed (door, nose, interior panels) and a near-empty fuel tank, probably about 80 lbs less than race weight. All of the pre-Topeka runs were at approximately 3500 lbs race weight (when the truck had a stock water pump, an intercooler, alternator, associated brackets, and an unused transmission cooler).
