Fastest Duramax List- 1/4 Mile

Wade we want you to be on the list, just play by the rules. This list was started by Noreaster and everyone has played by the rules. I've tossed off several that were not confirmed either by another racer, a slip or video. It's Noreaster's thread and his rules. I have only kept it since he didn't have the time. You have proven at times to be as full of crap as a Christmas goose, and frankly until you can prove otherwise you will have to show a slip. This list is highly regarded by the Dmax people. Some think we shouldn't have anything on here but full frame trucks, but that is not the was it was set up. Run the times and post them and you will be on the list where you deserve to be. That is fair for all. I would love to see your truck run in the low 7's and I'll be the first to congratulate you.

I guess I have a dog in the fight (being the next one bumped), but I won't get my underwear in a wad over it! People have asked me to post timeslips or videos showing the ET when I have sent in an update, and I have complied.

Just an aside - Are the weights supposed to be with driver? IIRC - the 3268 for Dirtymax is what we weighed at tech for Topeka, but it was with me in it (170 lbs) but a bunch of parts removed (door, nose, interior panels) and a near-empty fuel tank, probably about 80 lbs less than race weight. All of the pre-Topeka runs were at approximately 3500 lbs race weight (when the truck had a stock water pump, an intercooler, alternator, associated brackets, and an unused transmission cooler).

Michael I got that weight from Brad. He told me that is what it weighed with you in it. Next time you race and get a quicker time, please weigh it and we'll update it. And yes it is suppose to be the weight it was when you ran that time or something close to it.

Since when does anyone but a Moderator, Super Mod., or Administrator have the right to "Kick folk off" or Control / Make Rules for threads??

I think in this case he has a good point. If you want to be on the list it needs to be a confirmed run. Makes sense to me!

He raced side by side with Darren Morrison in NC with these numbers! There are Vids on here to prove it..


Why would ANYONE here Doubt that he ran a little be better than his best time and make it out the back end with an 8.80??

We are not arguing a 8.80 pass, but Wade placed himself above another competitor that ran a 8.801. He knows damn well what the 8.80x is, but is now backing out because he is wrong.

The "ego, going to's, could've's" comment is what everyone on this list has gone by for years, not pointed at anyone, but if the shoe fits...He has enough ego to place himself above someone else that has earned it.

There have been people that have been bumped running the exact same ET down to the thousandth and then MPH decides.

This is not a popularity competition, but facts. He made a 1/8 list for his accomplishment. This is a 1/4 mile list.

What do you not get? No one is doubting he ran an 8.80x, but it's that x that is in question. Dirtymax ran an 8.801 @ 154 mph. Since Wade's mph was only 115, he would have to run an 8.800 to be #3 on the list. Anything other an a zero in place of that x puts him at #4. If he posts up the slip, everyone will forget it. If it is in fact an 8.800, why wouldn't he post it? Kind of makes me wonder.

Thats NOT what Wade put in the list....It was the 8.80!!

LOL, I wondered how you got the exact number it weighed at tech, since it was only me and the tech guy who saw it! We could probably weigh all the crap that wasn't in/on the truck at the time, but I would estimate the missing parts & fuel to be about 80 lbs.

I dont have a scanner. i've been sick as a dog last few days, and i dont care to go out to the trailer to appease a few doubters, maybe tomorrow.

330' was a 3.4xx if i can recall correctly.

Swole you seem to be a good guy but keep the **** out of this, it the list and you said earlier you have no dog in the fight. Stay out unless you see something as a moderator that is not appropriate. When I said kick off I meant the list.

Ken when i ran the 11.24 truck was weighing 6550 and i weigh 250 lbs and on Toyo Proxes. This year at the Desert Diesel nats im hoping to have alot of things changed and be in the finals for SS. We will see....
