fastest with just a tune??

truck times

I have seen the black duramax run, It is very real. There are more trucks running around that the owners don't always get on the internet to get beat down that are pretty fast. Some just like to have fun and avoid the stupid stuff. Jeff

Honestly I had no clue so many *** holes were on here. I never even brought my truck up until they accused me of being a ford boy lol

So you do own the stroked dmax. Saw your name brought up a couple times when people posted a vid on another forum. Haven't ran it in the 1/4 yet? I'm real curious to see what a fine tuned 7.1 will run.

K here ya go. Sent the truck up to merchants automotive to get built the first go around. He used a s366 and a gt4518 for the first setup (not enough air) Socal heads, stroker kit, cam (which I has a pic of lol), duel built cp3s but one was a lb7 cp3 and the other was a lbz cp3( these 2 pumps will not work correctly together because they have diferent strokes) sparco intercooler, suncoast Allison, and the truck was sitting on a 6" lift turned down to a 3" lift so it was easier to launch, and it was sitting on 35s and it only ran a 11.4 like this with only 48psi..... Anyway the truck spun a rod bearing so I pulled the motor and rebuilt it myself, decided to to run 2 built lbz pumps, and a gt4205r and a gt55 which is the setup Idaho rob though I should run because no texting has been done with the gt60. And I also took the lift off and put some drag radials all the way around. I also stripped the bed out and put a liner in it so u can't even tell and put a fuel cell under the liner and put another trans cooler and a fuel cooler in the bed. I also ditched the Allison and im running a Suncoast duraflight which has been a great trans so far thanks to suncoast. It ran a 6.7* it's 3rd time down the track and Tony Martinez has done most of the tunes. My brother has also done a little tuning but when it ran a 6.7 it was the old running we were running with the old setup so it has alot more left in her and that was on fuel. We are gonna do some more tuning this season and see if we can get her in the low 6s with some slicks and then there is always *nx* but don't put down my grammar I type this whole thing on my iPhone lol

All i heard is gt4205r.

My phone was messing up sorry. Yea and I'm curious to buddy. But it will be a 9 sec truck this season even if I have to throw a 6.4 in it lmao jk jk.

Haha what injectors are you running in it?

Socal, I believe 120% over now. Right now my problem is no blowing intercoolers. I've blown 2 sparcos. They r fixing them though. When it ran the 6.7 I was in a stock intercooler because the sparco blew that night on like a 7.** run

Yeah you 6.4 guys can get to the 12s real easy. They run damn good with the basic mods, but then what? Hahaha. You're stuck with a high 12 second truck that gets 15mpg hwy

Hand calculated consistant 25 26 mpg ( imperial). I also don't have to rebuild my tranny all the time.

I have just a bit of experience here. I have a dodge common rail that I bought brand new. I have been running in the 10's with that truck since 2007. I had a 2007 duramax that I sold ( worst fit and finish I have ever seen in a truck. Had to get the tranny rebuilt twice. Unless you run efi live very hard to get over 500 Hp then the tranny won't handle it, front end wants to touch each other every time you do a boosted launch unless you spend more money on that, seats bagged out before 60k miles). Yeah "loved" that truck

This ford is a 2010 I have just over 50 k miles gets great fuel mileage, pulls like a champ, goes very quick in the 1/4 fit and if ish is excellent seats are quality front end stays where it is supposed to tranny dosent need anything

I would say that's a good thing

Oh yeah and other than removing the dpf it's just a tuner

They have a diferent stroke so it's hard for tuning. Trust me buddy I know and yea I did do the to begin with because I didn't have time to do it myself but then I had to go back and rebuild the hole truck myself because I wasn't about to pay them to do it again and it honestly seemed to me like they didn't know what the **** they were doing.

So what's your name ? I'll run over to Merchant's shop tomorrow and see if he remembers you.
