We are putting a 12v in an 01 F350. Where can I hook the trigger wire for the fuel shut off solenoid and is the throttle position sensor a 5 volt sensor?

For those that are watching I got the solenoid figured out and the sensor is a 5v. Now just not sure which wire to use

Running the solenoid to the battery with a relay would work eh?

If the F350 had a gas engine, why not hook the fuel solenoid to what use to be the ignition wire? If the ignition wire does not have enough capacity then use it to operate a relay.

I hooked it tp the big wire on the solenoid that goes to the starter with a 10g wire and it works perfect.

very cool. i will be doing a 12v in a 2k ford that had a 7.3 soon.

What in the world would stop the dash lights from going nuts when you hold the brake pedal and throttle pedal at the same time? If you do this all the dummy lights flash on and off on the dash till you let go of both pedals. Never seen this before!

why do you still have the 7.3 pedal still in it????

why build one when you can buy mine

pm for details

hey tim

Make sure you have all the grounds in place. batt to frame to motor, both sides of the motor you may be grounding throught the throttle cable.
