Hellmann tank sump

I suppose that'll be the next "big thing." I'll wait until the price comes down, though. $180 is a little much for me...

There on my website for $175. Anybody that mentions CompD gets them for$165. Dealers are welcome.

Its a slam dunk fix for sucking air through a pickup tube.

Everything that I have bought from Joe has been well worth the money.

can we get some better pics of it installed. how does it get to the bottom of the tank?

you take a 3inch hole saw and cut a hole in the bottom of the tank, then drill for all the small bolts add the gasket( I put some sealer too) and then put the ring on the inside of the tank and tighten all the bolts.

well that puts the pictures into better perspective. thank you

So does your fuel return to the top of the tank? Looks real good, anything that Joe makes is worth what he asks for it in my opinion.

I used my draw straw for the return, ran -6AN from the pump to a -6AN "T", -6 AN from back of head to the "T", then -6 from the "T" back to the draw straw. The piece is very well built.

Couldn't the same thing be for a lot less money and effort with a good bulkhead fitting and some washers?
