Highest HP on stock turbo

Most were done years ago, but they did happen. 100% stock chargers and NOS. They were done before rods and pistons were available, and very very few had aftermarket turbos.

I am trying to find more info on here but cant really find any threads saying that I can see low 700's but not over 800 on stock turbo but if so thats good but then why does everyone put on aftermarket turbos, egts, no nitrous etc

There are hundreds of stock turbocharger Dmaxes over 500rwhp, some over 550rwhp on fuel.

Drugs can add over 250rwhp to these engines.

Add the two up.

No, you won't find threads about it here, since this board is about 2 years old. There weren't always big turbos available for these trucks, so the owners ran what was available, which was drugs.

I have hit 539 on my 6.7 now #2 only stock lift pump, turbo, and injectors, no boost fooing yet either so still has alot left in stock turbo

I broke the 800 barrier on my stock turbo using nitrous back in late 2005. I was able to make 54x on fuel only with the stock turbo.

An old video of it here....

As long as you were conservative with the wastegate on the IHI you could make stupid power with the LB7 using nitrous.

Good to see you back around bro. How are Peaches and the little one?

Doing great. My little one is almost two, which is hard to believe.

i seen 600 on a 05 manual with stock head a superchips and a pressure box and a 150 shot nitrous

hahahaha you have a lot to learn. This all happened years before comp diesel was even dreamed of.

I love how everyone thinks the history of diesel performance is something that internet forums pulled out of their butts.
