haha. every one kept telling my little turbo was going to pop before i replaced it. it saw many 50 psi blasts. and i had it wastegated at 40 psi for everyday driving.

I just put down 552hp 1058tq w/ the stock turbo, smarty beta 4.2, and Extrude Honed sticks. :rockwoot: I bet if I could have had the TNT on and tuned it I might have got that extra 3 hp
 
Boy oh Boy, they must have been feeling generous at dodge assembly plant the day all of those were build and gave you all a full billet stock turbo, cause my blew apart in a thousand peice's before it ever even seen 450hp. maybe u need put that thing in a shiny display case over ur fire place:lolly:
I think all of you'all need to run dunbars dyno.

Mine was on Dunbars dyno
 
I did 450/1060 on #2 with stock sticks. Turbo is stock, but from an 05 (mine was an SO)
Haven't dyno'd yet with the 50hp sticks, but that and some tuning got me to 13.95 (2.3 60') at 104.65mph..2wd+stock michelins=crappy 60'

bh10, any chance you could look at your turbo's compressor housing and see what big number it has cast just after the big HOLSET cast lettering?

The one on my truck is a HOLSET 2, the spare HE351cw that I picked up supposedly from a late 05 is a HOLSET 3. Just wondering if different HOLSET compressor cover #'s correlate to some minute differences.
 
Mine should be around 550hp still stock tubro...20 hooks this summer and 50psi on the street all the time and still holding strong for over a year. Will be dynoing oct 19th so we'll see. Taking an extra turbo just in case though lol.
 
I'll bet a well tuned nitrous system on a stock turbo plus modified wastegate or external gate could be near 700HP as well.

whos that onequickstockdiesel or something like that I think his screen name is, read the posts were he got bashed for claiming the numbers and then proved that was pretty funny, I think I can get 650ish out of mine, I am going to be doing some dyno comparing at bully dogs shop here soon between the edge juice and bully dog pmt, thats the debate on the 6.7s right now and no one has dyno numbers to prove one is better than the other,

As stated in the 1st post. With watermeth NOS and any other power adder how much is the most with the stock turbo??

OneStockQuik6.0 claims 757rwhp Backs it up with a 11.77 E/T at 115.68MPH = 819RWHP Calculated from 1/4MI MPH http://thedieselgarage.com/projects/tirecalc/tirecalc.htm

You must understand a VGT turbo can open up REAL far avoiding overspool and nos does the rest ;)
 
I put down a best of 524 rwhp on a bone stock motor, stock trans and dual lift pumps on my 06 duramax truck with just a tune I made with efilive. I dont know what it will put down on the dual stage nitrous setup but it will run 11.8 @115 in the quarter when using the nitrous.
 
I would like to see what kind of number im putting to the ground, but i have never had it on a dyno.im running ddp 4 injectors and the rest of my signature

425-500HP depending on how well your truck is tuned.
