I F'n Window'd The Block on the Interceptor!!

Did that truck have VP rods or the CR type?

My stock CR rods!!

Who knows, maybe I bent one a while back and that was why I lost some power or something....Then it just finally gave up...

Who knows........I wonder if Jeff will be able to tell once we get it out and broken down....

Either way, I bit the coolant getting in there didn't help!

Thats what my truck had too was the cr rods,, not this time though, there wont be no cr rods in there

Awww man,, I feel for you,, that sucks,, and I know exactly how you feel! I just did my block 2 weekends ago... hole on either side of the block and the oilpan. My advice to you is,, dont go off and make any rash decisions, let everything sit for a bit, start taking the engine apart see what caused the event. Then figure where to go from there... take that for what its worth

Thanks man!!! That's what I'll do....Let things just chill for a while and take a look at my options...

Thanks
:Cheer:

Whatcha goin with if you don't mind....What's the Strongest YET the most cost affective way to go then??

In case I decide to go that route....

Yeah, the bent rod was the low power issue. Water from a blown gasket can hydro one pretty easily. It'll all work out in the end.

I hate it happened, but you have a good local shop to help out. Hang in there, all this stuff will go away and you will be back in no time.

Swole...so sorry to hear man! Keep yer chin up!!! I'm sure I'd feel the same way if something like that happened to me after all the time/money I've put into mine.

This makes me sick to read! Sorry to hear of your troubles, I have CR rods in mine and now I am going to be even more nervous. I am sure you will get it all settled though. This thread should have started with "prayers are needed."

I have been down that road of bad luck. Keep your chin up. We are all hoping the best for you. If i can help, let me know. You seem like a great person and dont deserve bad luck.

I know when you ran a compreshion test one of the cylinders was down a little but within spec, does it happen to be the same cylinder that let loose?

DAMMIT!!!

If you lived around here, I'd buy you a beer or three.

Really sorry to hear about your problems man. I still don't have mine back together yet.
