I think the dyno was wrong.

No it doesnt at all the 569hp today was on spray, the 12.85 at the track was fuel only. Sorry guys It was just a big let down. I'll go climb in my hole and be a loser now. I suppose I was perhaps:owned: by the dyno

That's kinda what i mean't.....the dyno seems low.....Using the Calc...your 7200 at 104mph is right at 549......So, I'd say the spray would have you over 6 easy.....

Don't worry dude....The numbers at the track is the ONLY thing that matters!!! And that 12.85 is Great!!!!

It could be worse!!! You could be Darren Morrison and Not get credit for Anything and have COMP talkin chit about ya!!! LOL!!!

you can shift good in the 1/4, but ur twins are prolly slower to spool, specially on the dyno

I'm waiting on the video to upload and my wife to get home to show me how to work the damn scanner and I'll post a vid and the sheet.

id have to say that the dyno my be ready for a calibration job if your running that on fuel and only pushed 570 with juice!!! you are due for another day on the dyno!!!:Cheer:

Thank god you guys were making me think I was crazy. I think next time I will find a different dyno. I was expecting what I made on nitrous on fuel and over 600 on spray, but that is for another day.

Here is the Sheet from the very first run

Been there and been disapointed too. The guy running the dyno said i had too much fuel and was putting the fire out. It only built 45psi and with my 2.8hx50 when i could hit 70 on the street. I have been told a couple of equations on horsepower. One is two hp for every cubic inch on normal modded cummins and the other is roughly 100 hp for every 10lbs boost. A stock 215 motor making 17 lbs boost wil dyno about 170hp. Who really knows though. All i know is a inertia dyno and my truck does not get along. Tim

trust me, you arent spinning the tires, not sure about the noise though, its so brief and distorted on my laptop that i cant tell.

569 hp at 61 lbs boost seems to be pretty close to the 10lbs=100 horse. How much boost did you see on #2 only?

The dyno can be rough sometimes ...
I was at a diesel dyno day competition yesterday and watched a lot of first timers get humbled in a big way.

Im still fighting to see that magical "600" number ... But Im am gaining ... I went from 566.5 to my personal best yesterday of 580 :rockwoot:

Dont let it get you down dude ... You have an awesome truck

thats the thing it wasnt a first time humbleing. I went to bigger injectors twins and nitrous and got 19 more hp. Oh qwell there is always next time.

To hell with the dyno.
Find out what your truck weighs so you can get an accurate number off the CompD calculator.

That's what I figure. I knoiw it is fast so it has to make power. I'll just hope it turns out better next time. Would it have helped or hurt if the dyno was not loaded?

its hard to say, but guessing your truck weighs about 6800+ the calculator puts you pretty close to your dyno #. dyno's are notorious for reading lower than owners expectations.
