II 14mm Pump

Who actually needs to go to a 14mm pump when almost nobody uses a correctly built 13mm pump to its full potential?

Agreed, Think about it 14mm on a 360 cubic inch engine = Waist of time

If it were 450+ cubes that would be better.

And about CC's of fuel, every bench will give you a different number. Its a dyno for pumps if you will. Ive heard clames of anywere from 40 to 100cc's with full cut DV's. There is only so much material to take off.

don't think so called scheids today and they said noway to a 14mm pump . actually they said we DO NOT and WILL NOT build a 14mm pump.

I talked to Brad Ingraham last week, he priced me a 14mm pump, but said if we wanted that much fuel he said we'd be better off to run a 12 cylinder pump..

Not trying to contradict you Rod but this is the Effingham IL office, I'm imagine you talked to the Terra Haute or LaFayette locations.

Not saying a 360 ci inch will take all of the fuel a 14 will deliver, but the idea is how rapidly it could deliver the fuel charge.

I think he means that he pushed ingram for more details, but you never know he is from michigan and with the economy the way it is in michigan, maybe Rod has found another source of income!

Maybe out just in time for xmas,
"michigan pullers gone wild" with music from wang chung!

your funny Dan. it seems every time you call them (any dang dealer )they tell you a different story .

No offense Rod, I was just razzin ya! I would live it northern michigan if I could find a job up there. Just nobody wants to hire me!

Well dan i have a buddy that is going to Ppump his 24v and wants to buy a 14mm. So whos going to be the ginny pig?? Hes also going through industrial. Order 2 may get an even better price so let me know you guys may save yourselves some money hopefully

Just because it is a 14MM does not mean it will out performing a 13MM bigger is not always better. I have a very healthy 13mm pump on my 24V and its works great and will flow all the fuel i will ever need for a single charger. With twins i still wouldnt use all that pump can give.

I agree. Think what they are looking for with the 14 is quicker injection. Is that right? Trying to get an understanding of it all myself

Slaming a bigger pump wont do anything unless the cam injectors are all working in tune. Besides i have heard all the nightmares about 14MM pumps sticking and im not willing to take that risk for something that will not blow away all other pumps. Besides your not looking for the fastest injection you looking for the most efficient.
