Illinois get together

So let's shoot for the 1st. My wife has a wedding in Texas on the 8th so the 7th is pushing it.
 
I wish you would do one for us Ohio boys. Thats to far to drive hung over from the night before.

Great. Also, if it works for him, freezing systems is wanting to do a get together a his shop. If he can do it in the week and there is enough interest, maybe we can do it there as well. Will that work for some of you Ohio guys?

If Ohio would be a option I'm game. Plenty of parking and if anyone wants to have some Dyno time we can set it up and roll some coal.

If it would work out and zach wanted to degree a cam in on a stand to show some who don't feel comfortable doing it I could have a 5.9 and a 7.3 on a stand to do a demo??

Just throwing some ideas out other than drink, eat and getting smashed. Lol

I can do this during the week no problem. Just speak up if anyone has intrest in doing this in Michigan City, IN 46360 or at Ben M's shop in Ohio.
Dyno time would be great with the get together.

How does thursday evening sound? On the Sunday thing in Bloomington, I am thinking about 4:00 to get started on the Q&A so that we still have enough time to hang out and eat, since so many are coming a long way. Will that work for everybody?
 
Thursday works for me. Just need some conformations on who would be attending here and insure its worth it for everyone to make the trip. I will have the food and drinks covered once I know a total.
 
Ok so we have Dayton, OH or Michigan City, IN which would work best for folks and Zach of course? Lets see after a few days here and see the intrest in locations. Im ok with either. Most important of all is folks not getting smashed and driving. I can arrange for a rides to the Casino hotel or others near by if anyone should need it.

So for the Bloomington event we are looking at Sunday the 1st @ 4:30 for the class and the B.S. will start shortly after. I will be in the area starting on the 23rd so I can help set everything up. Does anybody have an engine on a stand that we could use to degree in a cam?

Class objective- We can go over our new heads, cams, springs, pushrods, pistons and basic engine theory.
eats - Steaks and taters I presume? Be sure to give us an accurate count so we can plan.
Beers- Lonestar and local flavors ( please be responsible)
After a few beers we can discuss Politics, religion and women.
 
For the Indiana trip. I have mine on the stand ready for the cam your sending me or maybe your hand delivering.
 
So.. is there an Iowa stop planned after that? LOL

I'd like to make the Illinois deal and bring another Cummins owner, but there's no way I can say 100% with weather possibilities and that long of a drive.
 
Zack, I can have my engine on the stand.

Steaks, baked taters, and a side I can cover. Plus I'll probably grab a couple 30' s of Busch Lite.

Figure on about 30 people?
