beat the 1st and 2nd place 2.8 trucks that pulled the 3.0 class.
...which both broke...
So you're telling me, Mike, that he weighed 7200 in 2.8. But changed nothing in the 3.0 class, and weighed 8,000? Just trying to make some sense out of where you are going with this...
1. Jerry Lierly
2. Terry Coppess
3. Mitch Richardson
4. Dan Musselman
5. Tony Burkhard
6. Terry Biggs
I'll make your correction Dan :Cheer:

What did they break?
To clarify, he did add weight to get to 8000 for the 3.0 class
So is breakage considered an excuse?
No, just adding information to the story.

So if there was no time to go weigh up then everyone was light in the 2.8 class?
Tony weighed the truck like he normally does for 8000 and was only 7200 when he scaled. There wasn't time to drive back to the trailer and get more weight because after you scaled you were on deck to hook. He DID weigh 8000 in the 3.0 class and beat the 1st and 2nd place 2.8 trucks that pulled the 3.0 class.
Does anyone know if the Lierly's 06 dodge is a common rail?
