Indiana Indoor Pull

sorry i enjoyed spectating for a change and left cameras at home
 
I used the exact amount of weight as Eaton. I have used the same amount for the last 1 1/2 years. I usually try for more but always leave it at the scales.
 
heard their was two in the 3.0 class that broke, like the big dmax? (homemade) was told that the rear end was hitting the t case!.... bad break boys, good luck gettin that one back together before sat. night.

Tony, put like 6 more weights (which I think he said we 75 each) on the front of the truck and then we put around 400 pounds of the weight off the Foam Truck in his tool box for the 3.0 class.

The track was completely different from the 2.8 class to the 3.0 class. After the tractors you could get trough that hard sandy crust. It was like pulling on an ice skating rink the in the 2.8 class. It was definetly a "Dually" track. We didn't have the right setup for this track.

As far as 3.0's breaking, I heard Kuslik's had issues but don't remember for sure, Still Scap'n blew something bad both front and rear axles stopped turning. IIRC was a red truck and it looked like the rear end broke or drive shaft broke, back tires quite spinning fronts kept going.
 
I heard Kueslik's rearend housing broke loose from the frame and they drove home to fix it. And are planing on driving back making the finals tonight. It looked like their hitch was only 16" or so off the ground when the tow tractor was hooking up to him.

we left at 2 ish and the kuslik crew were rolling back it with both trucks and the rv as we were walking back to the truck!
 
Probably not over yet would be my guess...I got home at midnight and left right after we loaded the truck after the 2.8 class...I live an hour and a half from Cloverdale.
 
I ended up leaving before the finals today. They wanted $25 for the afternoon and another $25 to watch the finals. :bang
I left at 7:40pm and they hadn't even started the finals yet. :doh:
 
I think this is how the 3.0 ended up...blackout got 4th, Black standard cab that won thurs. got 3rd, and this is where im not sure... i THINK brad got 2nd, and legacy won!?!?!?
