Indiana Indoor Pull

We came back to Wesconsin (indiana voice) this morning. We stayed for the whole pro stock tractor class, had to watch the Lemke bothers JD pull. Didn't get back to the hotel in Plainfield till after 4am. Had to check out by 10am, that was a $150 well spent!
 
Said they ran late Fri. night (morning) and didn't finish all classes, so they finished them this morning.
When I left, they had the gasser side worked up and ready, had 6 tractors left in Super Farm class and was gonna work the diesel side of the track.
I wasn't gonna pay another $25 to watch the finals, so I just left.
 
We had tickets for Friday night and never had to turn them in. Nobody checked us.

It was a good pull, but I didn't agree with the $50/person entry fee($25 for the morning and another $25 for the finals)
On top of that they charged $125 hook fee. Paybacks were pretty good. I asked about the $25 and $25 and basically said if they didn't do that then they wouldn't make any money. So who knows, I think if they charged a $10 admission for the qualifiers they might get some bigger attendance numbers.

My thoughts exactly. I understand they need to make money.......but give me a break!! $50 for 1 person for 1 day?? :bang I guesss what really made me mad was that I didn't see it posted anywhere until I got down there this morning.

Wasn't as bad today, but they had all the doors open since it was warmer outside today than it was Thurs.
 
You guys shoulda ordered your tickets early. We paid $55 for Thursday night and all day Friday.
 
LOL, I pulled a good one on them, friday night when they canceled the 4x4 mod gasser class i wen't up and told them that was what i came to see (witch it was) and what are they going to do about me spending the money to see them and not being able to... they ended up giving me a free pass for all day sat.

yep thats ridiculous! I thought it was bad enough paying $50 for 2 people just general admission. ive paid less than that to pull at county fairs and watch trucks pull all night long. dieseltracks if you have a single stack in your truck and I was the one who flashed my lights at your thurs. night to come out of the mud bog parking lot. I was in a older chevy
 
If you would have spent a one time fee of $40 on a pit pass you could have come to the pull everyday.
 
Congrats to Lierly and Richardson on there good hooks, And everyone else that was at the pull. It was a great time! Cant beleive how many hooks they had at the pull. 30 some hours of side by side pulling. It was the biggest pull i have ever been to. Sorry I dont have videos but i went there with just my six year old son Seth. Yes the scales were wacked, first pull they said i weighed 7240 lbs, so for the 3.0 class i added 760 lbs and scaled in perfect but than for the finals i went in with what was the same weights as in the 3.0 class and i had to through 600+ lbs off. I know even you dodge boys would say WTF. I thought the event went great for the first year. Yes they had problems with parking but they will get that worked out for the next one.

Hope that they could let us pull over the scales ahead of time if they were going to be that far off, of cource it would all change by the time we had to pull.

Oh and about the swelling, its still there, I was the only single rear wheel and D-max to qualify thursday night! :bang
