Installed and running monster pump equipped truck

To the more that flows through the injectors the cooler the pump will run. Is my guess and if you have stock lines, tubes, and not big enought injectors the pump is stressing haveing to push the fuel to the injector. Just my thoughts.

The injectors he makes have different pop off pressures, higher lift and 9mm nozzles in them...The nozzles are apparently out of a Mack. I know for mine I had to hone the injector tip holes in the head out to allow for the spray pattern they produce

That's what blew lostnwalmart's pump up. Injectors didn't have enough lift and flow on them so they caused a restriction and popped the pump.

If the injectors are anything under a rated 200 horse injector it creates to much back pressure and will wear the cam ring out. Thats why he likes to sell his injectors with the pump so its easier for him to warranty if anything happens to the pump because he knows that the injectors where set up properly for the pump..

Injectors will cause failure in days or a week - not almost a year.

Incorrect .... depends on the mileage or how much the truck has ran.... The injectors can cause to much pressure allowing the rollers to slowly wear through the cam ring until it finally spilts .... However horsepower will be considerable less and less asthey wear more and more... It is different with every truck but it is a slow death to the pump....

I wonder if the industrial injection 11 holes will work or could i send them back for the extra lift???

He had way to many miles on that pump with those injectors to have trouble. Cam rings just don't explode. There would have been signs of wear way before a friggin hole would come in the side of the pump. Pressure created in any rotary pump will cause seizure of the head/rotor before anything will explode. If an injector isn't installed properly.........

Whats the problem with the tips. I am pritty sure that the 11holes have injector body work to improve flow to the tip.

More pressure to the tip from the VP, which it's suppose to do, and the more holes you put in the tip - I think you see where I'm going. Think of this VP44 like a p-pump and you'll find a good injector.

Sounds like the extra holes make it to weak for the pressures that this pump runs.

I'd be a little concerned but it wouldn't hurt to give them a shot. What's the LPM on those??

So you're comparing P-pump pressures to VP pressures?? You do know that p-pump pressure are lower, right;)?

Low pressure, big flow = P=pump

since the builder is offering a no questions asked warranty if you run his injectors, id give this thing a whirl, but can't afford it yet. i've seen one in person and havent been overly impressed yet but he needed to change some things. it smoked alot more than my truck tho.

i just really love the way my combo works currently and dont wanna go making changes and lose the great drivablity i have now.

tip pressure is set by the pop inside the injector not how much the pump can put out .. no matter what the pump is pushing if Im @ 300 bar then thats its if hes getting more pressure out of the pump then I say it will pop sooner than a normal pump could pop because its building pressure sooner , hmm if thats the case then thats why it has more timing ??????
