The return line on a 24V is on the back of the head and will still be used when P-pumped..
plate all the way back- 575hp/1100tq
plate moved up about 1/2- 3/4 way forward- 631hp/1200+tq
im happy with it...just needs more air now LOL
Sweet!!!!:rockwoot: How you like It [driving] compared to the vp?
video will be up later, Travis has to upload it, edit, then upload to youtube.
it sings at 4500rpms...its wicked, i cant wait to hook it. there is no signs of clearing the smoke, it was nice and dark black all the way to 4500 where he stopped the run. i think its gotta couple more little ponies in it if i can fix some leaks and play with it some more.
PS-did a true cold start today, no block heater, no warm air in the garage and the motor was stone cold. damn near killed my battery before it finally ran, and it smoked alot...turned some heads tho.
i like it, i can drive it smoke free, tho the pedal is super touchy unlike the drive by wire APPS on the vp44. when i wanna rip on it, there is no pulling hard then bam, brick wall of defueling. it makes peak power at 2800 then gradually comes down as the airflow sucks, but it runs great and pulls hard on the highway.

well i have plenty of fuel but lack air, stock head, drop in cam, etc you can only get so much air.
at 4k rpm it was about 475hp , 3600 its at 540hp

Still not bad numbers. Port the head and get a bigger cam and I'm sure you'll be able to carry a lot more.
Jamie, buddy of mine just p-pumped his truck and I quote, "I don't care what anyone says about any chip fueling to 3200 with a VP, nothing compares to the top end pull of a p-pump." Hopefully I'll get a ride this weekend when I go to his place to install the cam.
Dude, look at the traction bars wobbling in the 3rd video...
